Don't limit yourself there are much better carriers offering far more then Delta in first class right now and much more customer service.

I was on one of those flights that diverted to Rochester for fuel. Good way to kill 2 hours of a 3-hr layover!

My connecting flight at MSP was delayed because it got diverted to Rochester so I wound up WITH a 3-hr layover (It was only supposed to be one hour!)

I prefer interior of Delta's retrofitted A320 than their newer A321. The reappointed A320 from Northwest have more elaborate lighting. I also find that they consistently have those large dropdown overhead bins. I too have noticed that even though the retrofits happened a while ago, passengers will consistently comment that it's a new plane.
