It technically was self-defence because they tried to rob her but Kraft saw that she tortured them and killed them for sport so he's stopping it happening to somebody else foolish enough to fall into her trap. She obviously knew the bandits were following her since she stopped and baited them to reveal themselves. It's nothing more than sport to her like luring out animals with bait.

Also, even if you can accept that sometimes people die when you defend yourself - that is quite different from allowing someone to kill in self-defense, if you have the ability to deescalate the situation without anyone dying. Maybe it's just my opinion, but I think no deaths is the better outcome in any given situation, even in a self-defense scenario: If you can get out of it without killing, even if it's justified, that would be preferable.

It's not self defense if she's knowingly looking for bandits to kill and she has a kill streak... She's a killer plain and simple and only was just looking for easy prey since they would confront her anyways. Of course the bandits are in the wrong to rob and steal but to see this scenario as self defense is weird.

@@andresnoboa2092 El Dorado was also peak, my only complaint was that the ancient demon was introduced to be this mysterious figure and hyped up, only to be killed right in the same arc. The time travel arc is a bit too short for my liking, so I didn’t get to enjoy it as much. As far as I’m concerned, the Magic Exam arc is the most coherent by far, with a diverse cast of characters that are all very memorable, and the third part of the exam is just the perfect conclusion. 👌👌👌
