Extremely impressed by the charity of the Pakistanis all around you. Very few of them treated you badly or were even rude. All of them smiled and were helpful from the guards to the train employees and your bunk mates. What great people. It's a shame they live in rough circumstances.

Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Jesus

As a woman, it's not advisable to interact with the local men. Speaking as a Pakistani women. Especially if you're foreign looking (white, namely) because you look "exotic". If you talk or look, will take it as a sign of you being interested in them. Trust me, they think you just saying "thank you" as a flirting let alone smiling in their direction. Because of their lack of interactions with women, they think women want to throw themselves in their direction.

@AmberUnavailable
@AmberUnavailable 9 ай бұрын
I agree. People who snore should never sleep anywhere that is designed for multiple people. It ruins EVERYONE’S night and then most of their day because one person kept them up all night. Like think about it 20+ people couldn’t sleep because of one person making noise. People who snore that bad should either stay awake and be more considerate in the future or not sleep in places designed for multiple people. It’s just so inconsiderate.

We went from Faisalabad to Karachi on a Daewoo Sleeper Bus…it was such a great experience…so much more comfortable than your train experience for sure and it took us around 15 hours only…whereas a train would have taken us around 22-24 hours…and not to forget the delays…price was also reasonable around 8k with snacks and breakfast included for this amazing experience…bus is always on time! We also took the bus back. Online bookings are only available 5 days prior and the sleeper bus timing starts from 9PM…you can also buy tickets at the counter…subject to availability…to book tickets online you do need some kind of Pakistani ID I believe…not sure though…I didn’t book the tickets myself 😅 I would recommend taking a blanket with you and a lightweight bed sheet or anything like that to use it on the mattress for hygiene reasons….otherwise the experience was outclass and you got your privacy 😊

From my train journey through India I remember that you need to take the upper beds. Locals often want to swap because the don't like them, but they're much better. You can chain your luggage to the bunk and it's very cosy. Ground floor is not so good because people are passing by. 😀
