@Billy Ek Comparing North Koreans and the Chinese is like comparing the French to Germans, or the French to the English. They're each Caucasion but are still from different countries and have language and culture differences. Same with Chinese and North Koreans both being of Asian race appearance-wise but having notable culture differences being from 2 different countries, and language differences.

I live in China and speak fluent Chinese, so: 1. The Chinese lady on the train did not say your Chinese was good. She said "I teach you Chinese, you teach me English" (you replied "thank you", haha). 2. Chicken feet are quite popular in China. Depending on preparation, I'd say they can be quite enjoyable. From my perspective, your reaction seemed a bit rude towards the culture. Sure you didn't mean to. Welcome to Shenzhen 😊
