While our adventure of Lapland is coming to an end, we decided to experience a new and our first overnight train journey to get from Rovaniemi to Helsinki to, we took Finland’s high-speed overnight train and booked ourselves a “first class” sleeper car with its own private cabin with bathroom. What was supposed to be a 12-hour journey to our destination turned into a 16-hour journey. Find out how did we stuck at the platform for 4 hours in -20*C.

Amazing so many facilities are packed into this tiny first class compartment. Wish they had made arrangements for water, even though the train was late. BTW sometimes trains in Finland also run as late as 3-4 hours.

One of the best trains one can take from Helsinki’s. Specially rare for Indians to take this train. I tried this train few years back during winter solo. My friends thought I was crazy. It is a thoroughly enjoyable ….

Madam train is a public property , it will be as much clean as much the public passanger will keep it . U shd also compare the traveling charges .n no of passengers , For example look at our metro trains its neat n clean cause we keep it clean .

I have liked the gal carrying her old wa'er bottle underarm from the first compartment to the second. I have also liked her snatching away the top bunker, as often our mom, sister, wife, and bf do. I was expecting the charming young couple to picturize they're coming out of Helsinki station so that I can have an inside view of another European station.
