Disney hotels 100% do accommodate strollers for transportation. They were staying off property and that’s where the issue came from. I agree though that if you are offering shuttles to the park you should also accommodate strollers. And if they only shuttle you too one place, they should take you to the ticket and transportation center.

I’m pretty sure this wasn’t a Disney hotel they stayed at.. so not disney busses. Disney busses allowed strollers folded up…they should of clarified this.

Whatever you were taking, it wasn't a Disney bus. Disney buses allow strollers, but they must be folded.

That is such an odd policy knowing people staying there are more than likely there to visit Disney and probably have children. A stroller is a must when getting multiples around the parks. Something like that can put such a damper on your day but it looks like you all powered through!

We thought about this, but unfortunately that means we can't get the stroller until we get in the park. Walking all of our stuff and 3 kids from the parking lot alone is too much to handle.

@@SunkissedMama not to mention..you have to leave it at the stroller parking lot at nights so you have to carry sleeping kids and your items bought..last time we went to Disneyland this happened to me..ughh😩😩

This is unfortunately why we always get a rental car or stay on property and just work it into what we expect to spend. I often tell our friends to never try to budget a Disney World trip. Spend what you have to to make it convenient and comfortable or the trip almost isn’t worth it. I’d even delay a trip by a year to save more if needed. I’m your situation I would’ve just rented a stroller at the park, though.

We end up going back to the airport and get a rental car, I definitely learned a lesson! We usually always get one too!! I should've known better.

From what I seen if you stay on Disney property then their shuttle allows double strollers so maybe it’s just the off property hotels that doesn’t

Littering my issue with the “BIGGEST FAMILY PARK” In the world . I never felt like it was family friendly in soooooo many issues !! OH AND give them a 10$ and u can ?? I swear it was always a night mare getting from the hotel to park when all mine were little .

I was just at Disney World 2 weeks ago, riding those same buses. When they get filled with people, there really isn't any room for strollers or anything big like that. Those buses really aren't as large inside as they look. Your best bet would have been to rent a car. We did that once and it really wasn't that expensive.

When I took the bus it took us right to the park gate. We had to know what bus to take. As for strollers we had to fold them for the bus because of space. So we planned accordingly. Backpacks on and stroller folded flat till we got to the park. Then same thing on return. We saved a lot staying odd the park this way but it was more work

They have had the 31" stroller rule for a few years. Not sure if they all make people follow it or not. Probably depends on the person. It sounds like a ridiculous amount of hassle to get to the park. It shouldn't be a few hour trek just to get there.

Wheelchairs are viewed as a medical device. Buses are set up with chairs that fold up to make room for a wheelchair and the bus is equipped with straps to secure wheelchairs. Unfortunately the reason city buses don’t allow strollers (at least in San Diego) is because people will pack them full of stuff and it becomes a hazard. We have people who live on the streets and will try to bring large strollers and even shopping carts full of items on the bus. I don’t understand why they don’t allow strollers as long as they fold up and fit in front of the passenger while the passenger is seated behind another seat. Travel strollers are pretty small when folded. I haven’t seen if Sunkissed mama is using a travel stroller.

That’s definitely not a travel stroller, it’s huge lol. I’m also realizing that they’re not taking the city bus they’re on a Disney shuttle. Maybe Disney needs to do a better job letting people know the rules when they purchase tickets or book a hotel.

They didn’t stay at a Disney hotel so it’s not a Disney shuttle. Disney shuttles allow them if they are folded up.

Talia it was just brought to my attention that their are some busses that have compartments down on the side of busses so that they can store carriages suitcasesetc..... its a law that these busses have these compartments, just for this reason & easy 2 get to the park, please look into it, hopefully someone will help make it easier, for Mama's like you with 3 or more children. It’s a private hotel shuttle they are in no way required to take strollers it’s not a wheelchair. Public transit may be different.

I would definitely be contacting corporate about the situation. Also to say the shuttle takes you to the parks yet it picked from other hotels guests. Then it only drops you off at Hollywood studios is B/S there employees shouldn’t be telling guests that there’s a shuttle to the parks when there isn’t.
