I'm thinking of going to EF Paris sometime this year, did you like it? I was just wondering what you did there besides learning French? Were the students nice/did you do stuff with them? :)

26FashionGirl Hi! Yes I recommend it! There was trips and activities planned throughout the day and after school so you get to be a tourist also. It's great, you have either morning or afternoon sessions, so you have some time for yourself. Your student card also gets you discounts while you're there. Not to mention the friends I've made and how helpful and understanding the teachers were! Hope it helped!

Hi do I need to know how to speak French when I go or can I use English and are the classes taught in English (besides obviously when you are learning French)
@simplyberyl46954 жыл бұрын
Hi I knew basically no french. The host family only speaks french and in school all lessons are taught in french. It’s very visual and interactive way of learning so you understand what’s going on. But the teachers do know English and converse in English outside of the lessons or if you really don’t understand something but they do try and be strict and speak french so you’re surrounded by the language as if you were to live there. It’s a very effective way of learning.

Lex Chan I think it depends if the person speaks English or not. If not, well ...

Salut! I really want to do this immersion program in Paris, but I'm only 16. Do you recommend it for people as young as me? I'm worried I will be surrounded by a bunch of adults and I speak only basic French so navigating the city might be hard. Would you still recommend going? It sounds amazing, I just am a tad hesitant...

Hi sorry for the late reply. It’s a mix of people of all ages. I knew very basic school french which equals nothing when you do go to a french speaking country. I really liked it wish I actually did it earlier I feel it would’ve helped learn the language better. The teachers and staff speak English and are very helpful. Everyone else who goes to study there will speak English as the universal language so everyone is in the same boat and it’s amazing to explore the city that way. My host parents walked me to the station and sorted me out with a metro pass and showed me all the useful apps to download and so did the school so everyone is very helpful.
