I am so glad you were in Panama! It is so fun and there's really so much to do that. One day is not even enough but at least you get to see a good amount of things to do in one day and there's still a whole lot more not only in Panama City, but also within the area and around the canal along with the very nice islands, since they are thousands of islands in the country of Panama alone! And many have amazing beaches with very lush, terrain, and white sand with turquoise waters 🇵🇦😍

Well is the begining of rainny season, so I could recomend you to visit Gamboa(Chagres National Park) and Taboga Island. Move by metro, metrobus and uber is cheapear than taxi.

Café Unido is not the Starbucks of Panama, they are, as you said, a more Premium Coffee Shop/Experience. If you wanted to check the Starbucks of Panama, I'd have recommended Kotowa Coffee House, much more flamboyant drinks, without the loss of quality.

The biggest issues in panama are the constant rain because of the tropical climate and the traffic, nobody here know how to drive🤣

Casco is an expensive area i would say, as someone who works on the area sometimes. There are some fondas on the area which offer traditional food and its the places locals would get lunch at, usually for $3-$4, but theyre not the nicest looking places (food is good tho) I think there are some museums which are worth visiting if you didnt check them out! Like the biomuseo, and in casco there are a lot of small, cheap museums or exhibitions. There are some ig accounts that upload activities and where they are done, like the micultura account which is the ministry of culture, there are a lot of activities every month that are free. Theres also another park near the city which is the metropolitan park. I went there with my friends a few weeks ago and saw a bunch of deer, monkeys, sloths, agoutis, deer, etc. but as you mentioned the best time to visit would be earlier, 7am is perfect but 8am is good as well. We are in rainy season so its always handy to carry a small umbrella. Anyways, hope you had a good time!

Hi! The rat you saw it's called a Ñeque. The Starbucks in Panama it's actually called Kotowa. The Police you saw it's actually a Turism division. And actually a lot of People prefer to do things on the evening because the heat it's unbeareable sometimes. Hoping you enjoy your stay in Panama!
