More to come! Accessibility wasn’t great when it comes to public transport - it’s vastly improved since my last visit in 2019 with lift access but these were generally only available at bigger train stations :(

Great vid Shu, I love Japan (haven’t yet been able to visit so I’ll virtually join you on your feasts). Did you go alone, if so how did you find it being a solo female traveller? Is it manageable if one can’t speak Japanese (not even basic)?

There definitely were language barriers so I used Say Hi or Google Translate a lot of the time or communicated with a lot of hand gestures haha - or just went along with whatever food arrived! I felt SO safe even with my cameras etc - always been the case with all three times I’ve been!
