Chet, it was a pleasure seeing your family and fiance at the Full Podcast Thursday night in Fargo. I then got a chance to say hello to your mom and Dad as they were leaving the restaurant on Friday morning. Your Mom is such a kind and personable person, Where as your Dad knows that saying hi to complete strangers is part of the KZbin fame. I think he would rather shovel bee's wings that talking to complete strangers. I am actually that way as well.

Thanks for another great video Chet. It was interesting for sure. Neat that you have your own tile pipe laying machine. You do a good job at running the technology end of things Chet. Once you got it moving things went fairly smooth. Good going everyone!!!!!! Back in my days it was the old clay tiles a piece at a time. Oh my. Good job. My compliments to you all for doing good at tile pipe laying. Good job. Thanks for everything Chet and crew. You all be safe and take care. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

The deeper the better. . It will drain farther from the tile you are installing. I have been around helping lay field tile for about 48 years. I am58 years old have handle 1000’s of small rolls of tile we didn’t get Maxi rolls and stringer wagon until I was about 25 years old . We had a double reel carriers on both of our Vermeer T600C Vermeer crawler trenchers I would much rather have more farmland than a new trencherThat would have to pay a mechanic to work on.

Its so amazing how the science is going into farm. When i was growing up on the farm in the 70's and 80's we had know idea about adding pipe in wet areas to move the water out to drier areas. We just put in terraces and planted wheat in the hilly and or rocky areas. Corn and milo in the wetter and better ground. Found alfalfa hey worked very well in swampy areas. It soaked up so much water that we could actually farm it.

You park equipment, and then when you go to use it again a year later... I swear, the farm ghost has messed with it and changed settings and positions on everything? Stuff just settles... maybe take a video of it when you park it? Hell who knows... just deal with it like we have to. We use Superzilla on all of our hydraulic connections, as well as 100 other uses. Know what's below... Did you call 811 before you dig? LOL. The Big Swede always calls them. Danger, keep clear during operation warning right there. Yes, slope sensors are a waste of money - they never work. Thanks for sharing that tidbit of knowledge with the WWW. Dougo is great - exploring and surgery! Brody needs a pedometer to see how many miles he has to walk, and then claim workmen's comp for his sore legs and feet! Great video, thanks, please keep it up when time allows. 5 Thumbs Up!

I have a dirt moving company and we build a lot of French drains with this same kind of flex/perforated pipe. How does the pipe not get clogged when you just put clay or top soil over it after you plow it in? We use drain rock around d the pipe and then burrito wrap it with filter cloth so the whole thing is encased. The the filter cloth filters the the water through and keeps the soil out. I’m just curious how your pipe doesn’t plug. I thought your pipe had a sock on it but it doesn’t. Interesting, you guys obviously know what you’re doing I’m just curious how it works

Dirt/clay doesn't get thru the slots. Sand will get thru , they used to put sock on tile in sand. Now I think mostly special narrow slot tile is used for sandy ground.
