How is the work load? How's documentation (I hear can take hours after you are done at the end of the day)? Is it stressful doing 1:1 with patients or is it chill? Hi Noreen how does clinical work? Like are you doing a clinical per subject? Like isn’t it all mental health?

Yes, it is all mental health but one is psychotherapy which is all therapy no medications. The other 3 are all medications. You do it your last 4 semesters. As you progress you get “more independent” with your preceptor. It is repetitive, but you get more comfortable along the way.

As a PACU nurse, what’s your schedule like to help you fit in your clinical hours. Also do you mind sharing the company you went through to get your preceptor.

I’m planning on doing a video on this. I work pacu PRN so I’ll pick up shifts around my clinical days. Clinical is 2 days a week. And when I can I try to pick up more shifts when available but summer has been slow so it’s been a struggle. I used nphub to find my preceptor.

Congrats! lol I’m still trying to figure it out but it depends on your location and I made videos on finding a preceptor whether you want to pay and how to find one without having to pay hopefully
