Wow, I can't imagine being a junior and never being in a classroom yet. At my college, we were in the classroom from week 2 as freshman and we had a professional wardrobe year one. Very interested to hear more about your elm ed experience because it sounds very different from mine

We have been in classrooms volunteering since freshman year but on this day specifically, we have our normal college courses at the elementary school so it wasn’t a day of fieldwork

@@AmandaMonroe ah, that makes sense. We were assigned a school each semester and started out freshman year attending 2 hours a week and then worked our way up each year. Junior year (spring semester) we did junior block where we spent the whole day in the class once a week to prepare us for student teaching. Still a little surprised by the relaxed wardrobe for some of your peers but every state is different! So interesting to learn!

The middle school I went to is right across the street from armory park but I think your field work was at roskruge since that's like a block away from the u of a. Btw I live and grew up in Tucson so that's how I know so much about the area.
