We finally made it to Drift Week 6 in the USA and got to work on our Infiniti G37S coupe with a VQ engine we loaned from Lone Star Drift in Texas. We joined up with Jimmy Oakes, James Deane and the rest of the 40 car group of misfits and hit Cam Acres, the first stop on the trip. It was all going to plan until it wasn't! Let's hope tomorrow is a bit better...

The G37's are known for having Sunroof drainage issues. However, it usually drains INTO the car when the lines get clogged or separated, rather than out through the firewall as designed.

Good to fair chance the water leak under the car is just condensation from the air conditioning system, very common around hear especially I'm warmer areas

I had a g35 and had a water Leak in cabin passenger foot well and came from the main harness , fire wall in front of passenger side. The rubber seal was not 100% on.

I think it's so funny how before you guys actually drive yall take so many pictures of the car and from every angle and then one drive later the car is always all obliterated and in peices, bumper hanging on by a zip tie, and I love it ! I couldn't make it to drive this year but I'll see you guys next year promise you that! Gotta get the car ready for sure !

People hate on the G platform but I stand by it! I am building a first gen G35 coupe and I guarantee you’d be very surprised at the way it drives and sounds! Ya a lot of young idiots ruin them but theres a reason it’s a skyline in Japan. Oem- 48/52 weight balance- midship car( technically mid engine bc engine is behind the front axle). There amazing cars. Ya the newer ones look like dads car but I love 2003 g35 coupes and once you get rid of the things on the car that make it streetable the car wakes up and never run dual exhaust on a VQ! Hate all you want. Be different.

We did get G37's in UK but not many sold, like the rest of the Infiniti brand in general. Currently 9 for sale on autotrader, only 1 manual and it's a vert 🤷‍♂️

Out of like 7 drift cars in my town two are g37s. Both mine and my friends cars have burnt out pumps. Idk if anyone can tell my why but like he said they are hard to find! Both spit an alternator as well but those are easier. Maybe find one for a spare man 🤟🏻
