Looking back on my home-schooling time, I think, I made the mistake of being way to regimented with our work, this made some of the time too stressful for us, I learned, through time to not be this way but it was through trial and error. These real, everyday life home-schooling video's, are so helpful for everyone, thank you , God Bless always.

Love that vacuum catching dust bunnies. Now that the shop isn’t in the garage, you can move the pool stuff out there. You motivate me to get my chores done and after 13 yrs I’m going to paint my kitchen cabinets.🥰

God bless your school year this year. Homeschooled our 3 all the way through...18 years. I miss those days so much.
I noticed you’re right handed & your kitchen faucet has been installed for a lefty. In your husband’s “spare time” (yeah, right!) maybe he can turn the faucet handle around so that it will be on the easier side for you. Colin or Evan might even attempt it for you. I turned mine around so I know it isn’t too difficult. I adore all your kiddos! Y’all are really blessed. Thanks for your devotion to your viewers; you’ve inspired me to start cleaning out my drawers! Yay Amy!

A robotic vac would be awesome, but I could never in my lifetime afford something like that, but it sure would be nice for my arthritis and fibromyalgia aches and pains. But some things are just not meant to be. I have learned to appreciate all I have in my 77 years on this earth. Things will be better when I get to glory. In the meantime I will enjoy watching your girls use and enjoy it. I wonder what the world will be like in 20 or 30 more years. I have seen so many changes. I sure do enjoy seeing where you live. It looks beautiful.

The trick 👍❤️😉 to washing towels (in a top-loading machine) is to arrange them when you put them in, so that their weight is evenly distributed around the center thingy, IF you have a top loading machine. (Same thing if you’re doing jeans, spread the jeans’ legs around the center thingy evenly to distribute its weight.) If you have a side loading machine(?), then you just have to limit the amount you put in. 🤷♀️ Lol. (Count them??)

You made me laugh. We have had our robo floor cleaner years now. Works very well. Questions kids schooling is that by you alone or does your church provide some classes too. They don't seem to be in class long enough, compaired to standard school times today.

We do hands on lessons as well...we abide by NC standard for hours spent schooling
@nicoles71265 жыл бұрын
Montine, as a public school teacher I can attest that it doesn't take 6-7 hours for kids to do their lessons. There's a lot of time spent at school on transitions, breaks, and addressing things that are issues for large groups but not a factor for small groups (like many different learning modalities, inappropriate behaviors, giving everyone a chance to participate, etc).

I had the “OG” Roomba and I loved it. It couldn’t keep up with the cat hair though. It was good for a year and then would burn up. Roomba always replaces parts though. When we moved to an all-wood floors home, we pitched it. Boy, do I regret that! You can see dirt on wood floors so easily. Glad that’s not getting ground into my carpet though. A new one is on my Christmas list. I do have the Roomba mopper. It is tiny, so I can’t get my whole house by itself, but it’s still better than me scrubbing! Strongly recommend these robot helpers!
