Journey well begun 😁 I will recommend you one think. As Lavi jumps on the bike make Her step onto the foot peg and swing Her leg over. As long as Her weight is on top of the bike there are very small weight distribution outside the bike. The way She gets on and off now you risk to drop the bike if She loses Her balance. Just a friendly advice from Denmark 🤗. I'm so much looking forward to follow you on your journey.

Actually Ollie you can do the same when mounting. Just leave it on the side stand and use your peg as a ladder 😉 We older guys need the ladder to get on top of those tall bikes 😜

Great first video guys. Could I also make a suggestion that it might be easier for Lavi by placing her foot on the foot peg first and then standing to get on the pillion seat. I'm short (5'2") and this was the only way I could get on. It just might be easier especially after riding for a few days. Much love to you both x x x

Looks like a fun start! What were the issues/fixes you encountered with the bike, and what were the circumstances involved with the bike drops, and was there any damage? What news do you have about your gear? Those are interesting details. Even day-to-day adjustments are interesting! Don’t hold back! :)

Have you checked out our other videos where we did some off road practise? You can see two of them there 😂 Damage wise we broke off the clutch lever (now replaced) and cracked the foot pedal bracket which we have a spare in case it gets worse. We will do a gear video soon and go through everything then 😁🙏

did you guys make any upgrades to the suspension of the bike? It seems you are carrying A LOT of stuff. Asking as a 1050 brother looking to go 2 up with luggage and to me it seems that even with the preload all the way up, the rear spring at least is not enough. And we just had a givi top box with some 10 kilos in it.

@@LaviandOllie huh .... you are brave then :) . On my previous bike, 650 v strom, I did upgrade and the difference was night and day for two up. Maneuvering was insanely improved, including low speed. Gone was the constant wrestling with the handle bars for balance when starting. I only have the 1050 for 2 months but I will definitely, AT LEAST, put a stiffer spring on the back. More than that and it becomes expensive :)
