I recently obtained a silver tag CT 70 number matching both start at 111 complete runs great getting ready to restore it have finally got all the parts for it..

Dam; Nice find...I am finally getting an actual building/shop to do my restorations in. The Harbor Freight Tent Garage served its purpose. Its time to secure my tools and projects. My builds are being put on hold till the new shop arrives...I know what you mean by being hooked on these mini-bikes...

I just knew why you where excited before you said it…you beat me. My 1969 CT70 serial is a 106xxx and I always wonder where the first few bikes are if they are still around.

Hi nice videos. I also have a blue silver tag without a brace, but not such a low number as yours. Do you remove the silver tag when you paint it? It would probably be destroyed in the oven during powder coating. Thx

Have you ever had your powder coat crack? Mine is starting to look like it has spider webs. It is not visible unless you get real close or look at a certain angle.

I haven't seen that before but I've heard of it happening. Do you think it's a problem with the application or did something hit there?

@@eastcoastish I think it is a problem with the application. It is starting to appear in many places. I am going to contact the place that did it and see what they say. They did two other bikes for me as well and they are fine.

I have one that starts with ct70-103xxx Any Idea what year that would be? First year as well?

Yes, that's very early in the first year.
