On the cable lubing, I really like antifreeze in them. It’s greasy and actually lubes the cable instead of taking the oil and lube out like wd40 does. An old guy at a tractor place told us that trick years ago. Imagine that, an old guy being right. Haha

I’ve owned every major brand of air compressor possible, over the past 30 years. For the past 20 years, most have been hooked to my CNC plasma table. This Quincy is hands down the best compressor I’ve ever owned.

Congrats on 3k subs. Does the speedo work? Also, do you think there is an air leak by the throttle cap? You mentioned that in the video. Can you show that a little closer? I may have a leak there too
@MiniBikeMike2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! No, the speedo cable was broke. It’s been replaced with a good used one. The sealing washer in the carb cap was mangled. I sprayed some starter fluid in that area while it was running and didn’t notice any difference, so I’m not sure that it’s leaking. More testing to come…..

Great to see them kick over the first time :) I'm with you not a fan of the "cruise control". Do you have a throttle you suggest to swap out on these? I'm going to swap mine over... hate how the stock one sticks no matter what I do.

I doubt that Honda made many different keys. You might find a key from one of your other bikes will work.

@@MiniBikeMike Honda might have made 4 different keys for all of their bikes. They did that with their cars into the 90's. I would save that switch, and test it.

Mike, twice now I have had to pull cylinder head and barrel on my '70 KO ct as it wants to leak oil (when oil is hot) from the left lower corner where the barrel meets the case. I doubled the gasket at the case per CHP advice, orings are correct, head torqued properly along with correct nut/washer arrangement for head torque, cannot figure out why I am leaking oil here. Any ideas? Thanks so much!
@MiniBikeMike2 ай бұрын
@@warmblood58 I would double check for a leak somewhere else, that is running down to that spot. Also check for a crack in cylinder. If you’re positive it’s coming from that spot, there has to be an issue with the sealing surface.

@@MiniBikeMike , thanks so much Mike, I will put it up on my lift, start it cold and see if I can find a source emerging as oil heats up
