First Day of Study Abroad in Seville, Spain

I decided to vlog my first day of college since I'm studying abroad in Seville, Spain and here it is! I show you my commute to Universidad Pablo de Olavide, my new campus, and afterwards we go downtown and eat churros! My favorite first day of school ever.

I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, some said that Ponce is a little replica of Seville, Spain. Ponce does have a Spaniard architectural building 500 years old. Spain colonized Puerto Rico and all 78 towns of the Island has some Spanish touch. This young lady is pretty and intelligent, hope she achieves her goals.

Puerto Rico was not a colony, it was Spain, and all portoricans were complete spaniars... It was until USA invade and stole PR from Spain in 1898

Hi, I stumbled upon this video bc I’m a college student who is (hopefully) studying in Sevilla in spring 2021 and just wanted to know how easy it was to speak Spanish with host family. Could you communicate right away or did it take some time. Also did you practice Spanish before you left if so what did you do. I know a lot of Spanish but I have a hard time speaking fast.

hey! i've been studying spanish for 7 years, but i'm definitely not fluent and my spanish improved a lot once i moved to spain. it was definitely difficult communicating at first, but i you'll improve and get used to it! also keep in mind that host families know that spanish isn't your first language so they'll be patient with you. good luck!
