FIRST DRIFT EVENT IN MY RESTORED PROJECT 240SX

I could not wait for this drift my project car at this event! I did my best to get the project 240sx S13 ready for the drift event and it payed off well! The RB25det still runs and sounds better than ever! I was nervous to drift at first since its been so long, but after the first clutch kick and hydro pull, it felt like I never stopped drifting! I may have gotten too comfortable too fast tho...

I spent the last 7 years building this 1990 Nissan 240sx from the ground up by myself. I swapped out the KA24e for a KA24de. Then once more for a RB25det out of a R34 Skyline and couldn't be happier. I have also converted the 240 to right hand drive, (which ended up saving my life!) After installing a few drift parts; such as a hydro E - Brake, and dual rear calipers, welded diff, solid suspension bushings and more, the car handled amazing. Surprisingly this S13 was able to drift and stay sideways perfectly despite the damage that was done to it.

I just hit a milestone on my drifting achievements and I'm too emotional right now, but man... When you ended the drift event part of the video and started showing the footage back when the 240 was crashed, I'm not gonna lie, I cried a lot... I've been here since the t-bone video, watching every video as soon as it comes out, watching your struggles and challenges, watching how you overcome everything to keep the dream alive! As a drifter myself who also built/modified my own car, I see alot of my struggles in your videos, and thanks to you, I figured that I can make stuff work out if I keep focused, one step at a time and keep progressing no matter what! I had to let some other things pass, didn't saw my friends much in the last few years but just like you, now having conquered a milestone, it feels truly magical and it did worth it! I guess this is the whole rebuild done? Been watching the build playlist at every chance I had for a couple of weeks now. Turned out amazing! I guess it's time for me to go back and watch the initial build now. Very curious about the work truck Tegs too as well as the 300ZX and of course the continued adventures of this thing. I guess Franzys 240 is documented as well? These aren't even my favorite kinds of cars but you are my favorite kind of content creator and car culture shouldn't have "camps" separating us! What a boss! I've been playing with and working on cars my whole life and I'm almost twice your age. I wouldn't have been able to do what you've done. Some of the donor shells were arguably in better condition than yours was after the crash and re-shelling it definitely would've been the route I'd have taken here. Or just get another car. Huge props man! This is a once in a lifetime achievement for most car guys.

from a mint RB 240 to t-boned 240 and then to twisted drifting 240 , to a half of smashed 240 with a to do list,to a rolling shell of a complete 240 and at the end a colorfull RB 240 that has a blue to do list with a long story and shredding a drift event. that's the best story that any 240 and owner of it can have.
