This world premiere happened near my place - I had a flight from Los Angeles to Monterey to the legendary race track Laguna Seca.

i am really confused on Porsche new logo change from color to gray. This turbo gt still has color logo, while other new model (new Macan or Panamera) use gray one

What was the 1/4 mile time? I think it’s very cool but dealers would scam the hell out of buyers as Porsche tends to sell about 20%+ over msrp in addition to the taycan track record of immense depreciation

0-200kph is slower then the plaid by 0.2 seconds so my guess is a ~9.6? You would think more hp then plaid equals better performance but no. I think it is because Tesla uses carbon sleeved rotors so better top end hence the higher top speed of the track package model S plaid which can technically go 220mph without a software limiter. Even though it has the rear seats removed it is still heavier then the plaid btw. Aerodynamics should be about the same as it has a lower height but worse drag coefficient. I think not having Carbon sleeved rotors hurts the taycan a lot. It is just a slightly slower model S plaid that is wider and lower height with no rear seats, better aero and smaller wheelbase. Possibly better suspension (This is assuming you have the plaid in track mode which stiffens the suspension otherwise it isn't close.). One thing I wish porsche had is being able to switch to rear wheel drive. Otherwise the Model S Plaid is the simply funner car to drive.

It isn't competing the plaid though as it only has two seats... it is competing with the roadster. Accounting for inflation the roadster is 241k. Similar price but... something tells me it will lose lmao. Even if the roadster just uses Model S plaid powertrain and carbon fibre body it would crush the taycan on the track.

This is a stock Taycan GT, only mod on rollcage.... stock spoilers, stock rear wing, stock rims, stock brakes, stock suspension... meanwhile, tesla S plaid, $700K mods cost. super big front-rear wing, diffuser, non street legal slick tyres, prototype spoilers, big camber mod, centre lock rims, single seat, etc.... But only 1 seconds faster than a stock taycan in Laguna Seca. hahahahaha $700K VS 250K
