Love this van! I want one! Add wings style triple layers of solar panels on to the rooftop that can slide out from both side, The solar panels can charge up the van's batteries where there is no charging stations. Free electricity energy from the sun that will add extra range for any vehicle! 🤩😉🧡🚌🧡👍

The BrightDrop and Rivian delivery vans are obviously direct competitors. I find it interesting that while the Rivian is strictly front wheel drive, and that is reasonable to get a low load floor, the BrightDrop is AWD. GM fit an Ultium drive unit under the cargo floor but Rivian did not get one of theirs under there. Aside from the drive units, both vehicles will have roughly similar front and rear axle loads (due to the large central battery) and will be rear-heavy when fully loaded (since the cargo goes in the rear), so rear wheel drive is a better choice if it can be practically arranged.

Test driving an empty cargo vehicle seems relatively pointless to me. It does let us hear all of those empty shelves rattling in the back.

Yes when you add the weight of packages your range decreases probably substantially probably by 50% - 120 miles is hardly an advantage when you have to stop 3 hours into the drivers normal 8 hrour schedule to recharge
