@@alexturnqest6202 I am an enthusiast, cars and motorcycles, love track days, love quirky cars. Overpowered cars like the Venom have only one trick, a big engine. It's not really a track car. It makes more power than a RWD setup can use. Wouldn't stand a chance on a road course against a GT3 for a fraction of the price, but that GT3 won't stall in a drive through. So what is it actually for besides making noise and "bragging rights"? For the same money you could get a Rimac, which is genuinely fast.

It's unapologetically American and I love it. Hennessy was like 'you know what? what if you could get a Zonda but with a pushrod V8 making enough power to orbit a smallsat?'. If you had asked me to describe what an American hypercar would look/be like 10 years ago, I don't think I'd have come up with something better than the Venom F5. It's a beautiful marriage between modern automotive engineering and good old-fashioned hot rodder sensibilities.

A Battista, Concept 2, Nevera, or Evija probably "feels" quicker because of the shorter gearing, instant torque, and superior traction, but this thing is on a different level from those cars when it comes to outright speed, and it will dissapear into the horizon once you pass 200mph. The power to weight, top speed, low coefficient of drag, are all class-leading. I can't wait to see what this thing can do on a sufficiently long straight. Oh, and did I mention that it sounds incredible?
@napalmhotdog4365

I’m not sure they would feel quicker tbh (and I have noticed that you put feel rather and are). The fact that this has the noise (as he said, almost no sound deadening), the heat, the vibrations and low weight might actually make this car feel faster than any other road car ever made. In theory anyway.

I am glad this car came from Hennessey. In between the conventional exotics, hypercars, and - as of late - a certain very vanilla electric automaker, it is nice to see a naturally aspirated, LS-based domestic that can chew each and every one of them up and spit them out as roadkill. I love this car.

Carbon monocoque technology isn't cheap, and the molds to do it aren't cheap either, simple triple curve panels can cost in excess of 50k for just the molds. So I'm going to tell you the same thing I tell everyone else who has zero concept of how this shit works but thinks they do, you think you can build a 600+whp 6x6 for sub 200k, do it. Don't give excuses, you have a KZbin channel, do it document your process, costs, then at the end put it through the same tests that others i.e. Hennessey has.
