I'm very happy that he's getting into vehicle production. His ability to "Tim Taylor" anything with a motor has always been a sensational gift. Then came the stretched lotus super monster. My one off car would have a twin charged straight 6 with about 1200 hp , awd , and weigh between 2700-3000 pounds. No biases. 50/50 split with torque vectoring . If I had to have an 8 cylinder , it would be a flat plane crank, small displacement with the rpm of a sport bike.

The aviation industry has had very stringent tolerances on rivet depth in aircraft skins. Even a deep rivet can cause drag. On jetliners the paint lines around an engine can cause drag also. So the painted MB logo isn’t that strange when you consider these cars are moving at slow aircraft speeds.
