Everyone seems to be bouncing around like mad in the new Type R. Is this because everyone is leaving it in its hardest suspension setting? I hope the ride is still good in comfort. That was one of the highlights of the old car.

Wishful thinking. Just hold onto your si. You can’t even find a 20/21 Type R under $44k preowned. Certainly not finding one of these under $60k. They are amazing machines to drive but it’s not that amazing. I’d much rather spend that much money on a RS3.

Honda makes phenomenal manual transmission Fl5 is a daily drive car with full on practicality, track precision and cornering specialist. With Honda reliability and honda maintenance Supra is a straight gunner with 6 cyclinder coupe and bmw reliability and cost maintenance.

It’s just regular driving mode. Soft suspension, engine calm, exhaust quite, and steering soft and loose.

Shift Light! Sorry to remind you that Veloster N has it on the first 2019 version. Speaking of realability, Honda had it's own demon's. Like the oil in the gaz with the 1.5T.. The clearcoat isue with the 2015 series..

I prefer the original which btw is not out of the norm. Icon's are hard to surpass. WRX is the poster car for originals that were better than the sequel. I am sure certain elements of the new Type R are better. But the look and character of the original is hard to beat, boy racer look and all. Honda swung the styling too far back the other way with this car...too conservative. Dealer markup will kill desirability. Just order a Supra for the same money with two more cylinders....looks fast and BMW motor is more satisfying.

@@smooveoperatortr Agree with smoove, fl5 is not honda, its a Type R alone is a brand reputation that practicality can rival normal car fetching adults unlike Supra , performance daily drive dont need 6cyclinder going in 4sec . Many people still prefer low key and full daily practicality. For Supra money 2 doors, there are choices too

I’m not hating on the FL5. I think it’s sweet, & can’t wait to see the future modded 1’s. But I’ll pick my 17, FK8 all day!! The attention/looks I get when I’m rolling is so addicting. What’ll bug me is the people that crack on the racer boy look of the FK8, add a bunch of stuff to their FL5, & make it look more aggressive. 🤦🏻‍♂️
