I love a good exhaust but I got the 20 inch wheels on my 981 S without the sports exhaust but it’s really loud inside the car especially on the motorways

Mannix Music - Mixing & Mastering the road noise is quite loud, but ride is good. I wouldn’t say it’s any louder than an Audi TT inside

Great video. I've decided to part-ex my TTRS in for a 718 Cayman. Don't need more power these days, and after looking at the T I've decided on the base 718 and adding a few options (plus I want gentian blue with the turbo alloys). Did you go for PASM? It's the only thing I'm not too sure about.

Thanks Glen, congrats on the new 718! My car doesn’t have PASM, I wouldn’t say the ride is harsh - actually it rides better than a Mini John Cooper works I had! Perhaps worth trying to drive one with PASM - see how it compares to the TTRS

I drive mine everyday and I think it’s not a big deal, but it is quite loud. If you’re driving on bad quality roads for a longer distance, it may be too much

Not true. A base Cayman with PDK gets to 60mph in 4.7s. The GT4 gets there in 3.7 seconds. That's a whole second slower, which is huge. If you get the Sport Chrono for the base Cayman, then it gets to 60 in 4.5s, still 0.8 of a second slower to 60. The GTS4.0 is the one to get because it's only 0.1 seconds slower than the GT4 and it's about $13k USD less. If you want to save some money then the Cayman S is the better buy. That one is still really fast and gets to 60 in 4.0 seconds. The base is not the model to go. Why are you getting a Porsche if you can't afford the $12k difference?

@@BN99239 Specs state 0.5 seconds slower than Manual GT4 4.0 (specs from Porsche UK website) GT4 is £25,000 ($34500) more expensive. Not sure where your figures are from ? I could have brought a GT4 or even a 911. But I always liked the Cayman layout/size more & the 2.0 300bhp is ample. Funny how the Base 2.0 is their best seller & keeps Porsche in business.

@@steverumney7613 I'm looking at the specs directly on the Porsche official website. We're comparing pdk here, not manual. Just because a lot of people buy a certain thing doesn't make it a good buy lol. People can barely afford a lot of things and they still do so because they make poor financial decisions. What I've said still stands.
