First Drive With Sniper EFI | 1972 Ford Ranchero GT

In this video we finally take the Ranchero out for some fun. We cruise up to South OC Cars and Coffee for their 6th anniversary, see some awesome cars, and do some stress testing!

That’s a badass ride, there’s a ‘73 ranchero at my family ranch but it’s in a state of disrepair; and it has the 351 Cleveland. But at least I got my ‘68 cougar in great condition. Anyways, love the car and video!

Beautiful green! My Lincoln Mark III has a similar color... If I may suggest, I think it would really add color if you were to put a set of white letter tires on her. Along with the smoothie wheels, that would give it a true classic look. 👍🏿💯

I've been debating on what to do (if anything) with the tires/wheels. That's a good idea.

Hmmm. You have voltage drain happening in your ignition circuit, just like what was going to the control unit. It should start as soon as you hit the key. Get the starter solenoid that has the two small posts I (ignition) and S (start). Hook the control box to both of them, and the 12 volts going to the coil can draw from them as well. It'll fire up when you hit the key.

Got to love the old Ford divorced starter solenoid. They can be use for everything, like winches, etc.

I bought a beautiful blue ‘72 351-c Q and I absolutely loved it. I made the mistake of listing it on the net for $4k more than I paid for it. I started repairing the minor issues but my back injury stopped all that and I sold it 😢. Always wanted one since they hit the market in ‘71. I was 18 and no money 😢.
