First Drive ZEEKR 009 - BEST Family EV? Review // CHINA DRIVER

ZEEKR kindly lent me the 009 for a day to see if it can survive being a family runaround for the day when we visit a mushroom farm in Shanghai.

I used to own am imported Toyota Alphard in the UK, this looks a brilliant EV equivalent, and I think quite a bit cheaper than top of the range Alphard.

I would like to use this possibly as a wheelchair vehicle. Can you tell me please the width of the rear door opening as well as the height of the opening? How high is the internal floor off the ground? ♿🇨🇦

4:11 - this is NOT an MPV (like the Mazda 5, or the Mitsubishi Spacestar), this is a MINIVAN. And every mininvan has a boot/trunk/cargo area/cargo space, e.g. Honda Odyssey, KIA Sedona (Carnival), Chrysler Pacifica, Dodge Grand Caravan, Ford Freestar and Toyota Sienna. (most of these are North American models)

I know in China they starting to call (fully featured) front passenger seat as "queen" seat, on this car maybe it's called "backup chauffeur" seat 😂 Nice review btw.

Why can't the roof make higher by 6" more for easier ingress? Especially for last row passenger. And why can't we have a third row door? So that the last row passenger do not have to bow every time they want to get into / get out of the car? If not a proper door maybe we can look at how mazda rx8 rear door was designed. It won't be very expensive to design & produce it.

How can chinese brands always manage to make luxury cars look cheap? Its like they successfully copy some luxury european vehicle silhouette they saw on a magazine but they only have some cheesy early 2000’s grills and headlights laying around in an abandoned FAW warehouse to put on them…
