The early boxy Chevy II/Novas are easy to make a 4 door to 2 door with the post cars. You need the inner support and pillar and basically the 2 door doors, if you have a donor car for the support structure it can be done easy.

I am just bottled up wanting to tell you to go look at my channel 58 conversion on that door post and how I dealt with the rear windows. I was literally 3 days into re sculpting the passenger side (and had a good more days to finish) when I went out and found a crushed up 2 door and got the posts and inner panels with the window mechs. the 58 is very similar in design structurally to the one you have here. You will be so glad you did if you can find you a donor for these parts. the lower post on the 2 door is a simple panel and not a folded up mess of mild steel. The window channel comes down at a rearward angle as opposed to straight down. Donor will save you at least a week, make door repairs in the future easy and make glass a simple order.

Dan I believe this build will put you well over 100K subscribers, a lot of people are wondering what to do with all these left over four doors. 4 door cars are cheaper and generally in much better shape because the car was lovingly cared for by some old fella and never driven too hard. 2 doors are usually driven into the ground by younger hot rod enthusiasts and when the body starts to rot away they tend to just get patched with filler and fiberglass.
