I like the 30 under 30 concept. I hate car shows because a bunch of people show up with lambo’s, mclarens, ect and there’s nothing special about them... maybe different colors but they are all “cookie cutters”. I rather see a old junk yard car restored and loved. That to me is way cooler than any generic mclaren.... I do love mclarens though... but once you see one you’ve seen them all.

There are plenty of car shows for people with cars built on a budget, they just aren't on hundred million dollar estates, I thought the whole point of the Concours was that they were just for the perfect cars, and most car guys don't want to have to get dressed up to go to a car show, I'm not sure I get what they are going for.

This folks is why Jay is a national treasure. He shows up to a cringey 1%er elitist event in jeans, references Wal-Mart, and plugs his 30-under-30 initiative. If he were literally any other person they wouldn't let him within 100 feet of an event like this. Say what you want about Jay, but he's never forgotten where he's come from, and he's never forgotten about the little guys. It's all about the preservation of automotive history with him.

I sure would like to hear Jay Leno's take on Janus motorcycles. At first glance it simply looks like a retro motorcycle from the 1930s. But as you look closer into their story it's more of a flashback to the original motorcycle builders of the 1930s. They were two young guys very into small mopeds and the joy of riding small lightweight bikes around town and decided to build their own to suit their purpose as well as all of those closet motorcycle enthusiasts that craved a simple lightweight bike to enjoy. As they built it with as many local Craftsmen and resources as they could find close to home it naturally started resembling the throwback from when bicycle manufacturers started building bicycles so they rolled with it. I personally have no horse in this race except for the fact that I find it so cool that it is a true flashback of two enthusiasts building something from scratch with whatever resources they can scratch up and turning out a product that is truly interesting and desirable for people like me that secretly desire a simple small bike for fun and yet still wants something stylish. Buying an antique bike for me is way too expensive complicated to ride and too valuable to thrash around on. I would love to see Jay Leno give this some national recognition because they did get there certification for 50 states and I do love to see a good Cinderella Story especially when it comes to motorcycles.

Dear Jay, I hope you read this, because I am sure that the car I am going to speak of is right up your alley as far as new cars are concerned. The car is the Alpine A110. I’m sure you have heard of the French make, and are probably aware of the late ‘60s A110 that won the World Rally Championship in ‘67 I believe. The new version a light weight mid engined sports car without the 6 digit price tag. One of your favorite designers, Gordon Murray has purchased one, which I think speaks volumes for it. You probably know tenfold the knowledge I’ve acquired about the car. I just wanted to make sure that you knew of the car and perhaps put it on your You Tube show if one was ever close by, or drive one if the chance arose. Thank You for reading this, and especially for all of the time you put into your You Tube channel.

I own the Red BMW 2002 that Jay talks about! I worked on it for 4 years and completely restored the car from the ground up, it was one of the best things I've done with my life and I plan on building more cars. Being in the 30 under 30 was such a great experience, I'll never forget being on the lawn of the Breakers with some of the nicest cars in the world. Thank you Jay for creating the 30 under 30 class it really gives young guys like myself the opportunity to show case what we are capable of doing.
