I say and VERY strongly suggest taking the NF Journey. It's a rabbit hole haha he puts out a story through all his albums. In order for the last scene to make sense, you need to listen/see another song. And then in order to understand that other song, it's best to see the song before that one. He lays it all out and it is amazing. He's a lyricist. I'll say start off with his Mansion album. The song Mansion is the foundation to everything else after. Will you take the journey? haha
@sunshynff3 ай бұрын
Hopefully not, it does not make for good content, "the journey" is not necessary to piece together all his little clues, or to understand his mental health history.
@random71123 ай бұрын
@sunshynff describe the NF Journey then.
@sunshynff3 ай бұрын
@@random7112 😂😂....Why, so you can tell me my interpretation of it is wrong?? I have neither the time or desire to engage in such silliness. I stand behind what I said, and I'm a big fan of NF and his catalogue of music, despite not doing the journey in the beginning, and never in order. If you read my comment to reactor, I simply told him that it a long monotonous "journey" through album's 2 and 3, which is 30 tracks just by themselves!! It's fine to listen to them if one so desires, but that's a sh*t ton of editing and uploading for content that gets very little views compared to NF bangers, hence why I said it doesn't make for good content. Stop getting all in you feewings and grow up bro, it was just advice to the reactor.
@random71123 ай бұрын
@sunshynff are you ok? Like honestly I just asked for you to describe it in your way. You assumed so much with so little from what I said. I didn't even talk down to you or anything. Make it make sense.
@sunshynff3 ай бұрын
LOL, nothing's wrong with me, I'm doing great actually, how bout you? For the record, you didn't ask me to "describe it in my own way", you said... "describe the NF Journey then." If you would have asked the first way I would have given a very different response. I know reading emotion and context from the written word can be difficult, for everyone, especially with all the little nuisances and slang that can differ even from different parts of town in the same city. But, not typing any pretext to your statement and ending it with the word "then", is fairly universal for a demanding, slightly angry response to give to someone after they disagreed with you. If that was not your intent, then my bad, although I hardly thought I was talking down to you, just a little quip with my last sentence. You should know though, if it wasn't, that's sure how it read, and appeared you were a little pissed. But it's all good my man (or gal), all water under the bridge on my end, have yourself a good weekend, and tell someone who's not expecting it, how grateful you are they're in your life, you have know idea how much that will lift a person up. ✌💚

Here’s where NF is so deep .. in the end he’s wiping a fake smile off .. the message being .. his dream is coming to life .. he should be happy as is always said … but his truth is despite his rising success it ain’t all he thought it would be .. he has a long journey in finding peace in life .. until then he’ll put on the fake smile for everyone to see on the outside ..

I discovered NF (Nate Feuerstein) when I saw someone react to his song Mansion (first label album) and it related to something going on in our family so much. He went through a lot of trauma as a child and his albums are his journey of growing, healing and finding hope. He is a very talented artist and has a way of connecting all his music together which is unique. One reactor I watch says NF is the "marvel cinematic universe of the music industry" and I love that description. As both a fan and a person, I am happy to see him reach a point in his most recent album called Hope where he knows that fear and past trauma will always be a part of himself that he fights, but he is the one in control now. As a poet myself, his lyrics amaze me and so many of his songs have so much wisdom in them for someone so young (Remember This, Change, Just Like You, Prideful, Nate, Oh Lord….). I saw him live for the first time in 2023 and it was awesome.

NF does have a certain style, and he doesn’t really focus ALL of his lyrics on double entendres and big punchlines. HOWEVER, many people find him very relatable. His creativity comes from his storytelling and painting pictures about his past experiences. He himself doesn’t consider himself the greatest rapper ever, but he just writes what he feels and puts it on a track. Think of his music like his own personal journal entries, but just put into rap songs. I think you’ll enjoy him to the fullest if you listen with that expectation. One thing that’s undeniable though, is his flow and cadences are fantastic, he definitely knows how to ride a beat.

Kid in the beginning said "I want to be a rapper"....it's hard to understand, it was little NF. The painted smile on his face was because people told him to smile more and he doesn't want to be fake. At the beginning. all the kids said what they "wanted" to be when they grew up, the last kid was a little NF and he said he "was" going to be a wappah (rapper). Yes a lot of his catalogue is self reflection, mental health stuff and sad, especially the early years, but he has a TON of bangers too! A lot of NF fans are VERY concerned about reactors doing the god damn "NF Journey", in fact I see some are already pushing and pleading for you to do it. Yes, a lot of his videos/songs are are intertwined, and he drops easter eggs that connect to future ones, but I'm tellin' ya right now, it's a LONG journey, and after "all I have" and a couple tracks on his first album, Mansion, it starts to get monotonous before you get to the bangers on The Search, his 4th album, then his mixed tape album. Don't get me wrong, there's some decent songs on album 2 and 3, but those two combined have 30 tracks, and after album 3 was when he started to get the reputation of a "sad rapper". I didn't do the Journey, and I was able to piece together most of the clues and hidden meanings just fine. If ya want, just give me a thumbs up or like on this comment, and I'll give ya list of 8 - 10 NF songs that are really dope, in no particular order, and you can choose from them, and then decide later if ya wanna go back and do the Journey. Great reaction by the way!! ✌💚

Anyone who says NF makes sad rap hasn't listened to more than a few songs. His songs are inspirational, and they tell his true life story, which has some sad parts. If you are looking for clever lines with complex schemes, that is not his bag. Every single line in every song is intentional, purposeful, and intended to be real. It is the substance of what he says. I have never watched a single Reactor who has listened to more than 5 songs not think NF is awesome! Oh, by the way, "The underdog...if you ever push me, I'm gonna swing!" is a triple. Obviously, we push someone on a swing, we can also swing back at a punk who pushes me in a bar, and finally, the term underdog also describes a person who pushes one on a swing and then runs under the swing after the push.

Woot woot!!! Love me some NF!!! Here for all the Tom and all the Nate!!!! .. NFs songs are so relatable. He personifies emotions which is so real. Some of his songs are sad and/or heavy because he uses his writing and raps as "therapy" and because of that he has gained a huge following of people that can relate. Love it or hate it, he's a phenomenal artist (raps, sings, has a huge part of production with the beats and videos), and he stays true to himself and his family. Em was a huge influence. He has a song with Tech9 that is fire. He also is huge on connectivity so his songs are linked and make references to ones before, while also connecting to songs he will drop in the future that he hasn't finished. To get a full picture, without going through every song, there is a "NF JOURNEY" list out there starting with Intro 1 and/or All I have from the Mansion record. I'm here for all the NF reactions you do not matter what order you do them in, but things will make me sense if you start from the beginning :) ❤🔥

In Hope he has the “map to hope”. The black smile you will see painted on his mouth is explained in his therapy session song. Here is the song order: MANSION ALBUM: 1. I just wanna know (VIDEO)-Will connect to Outro video. 4. How could you leave us-(VIDEO) Please have tissues nearby. Will connect to his Mama single. 5. Real song- (VIDEO) * He pays homage to Lil Wayne in this song by using his famous line feed me rappers or feed me beats but adding feed me both of them 🔥* Also connects to Outro video. 6. Grindin’ ft. Marty (VIDEO) 7. Oh Lord-* This song gets referred to in returns song two albums later.* Great song 8.
