Welcome back! Today we reacted to 97’ Bonnie and Clyde by Eminem. This was so much fun because I have never heard this song before, and we all know Carter hasn’t, so it was a fun one to do! I love the dont give a f**k attitude in these tracks.
I thought Kim was pretty intense, but I think this beats it. 😂 The way he plays with the tone of his voice throught the whole track was awesome.

I remember buying this CD after hearing 'My Name Is'. Popped it in the car system. When I got to this song I had to pull over. I could not believe what the hell I was hearing and I was laughing too hard to drive safely.

You should listen to some of Haileys podcasts, I watch them on KZbin. In the first episode she describes how strict her upbringing was and how hard she tried to be “good”. No cursing in the house, no high school parties, she was valedictorian and prom Queen and played basketball. It wasn’t until late into college that she loosened up a little and she was timid about it. She was very protected and it can be isolating. She was fortunate to have a great best friend, her mom and dad living close to each other, her sisters, her uncle- who was more like a brother or cousin. It’s a great episode hearing from her perspective what her child hood was like. Then I liked the episodes where she interviewed one of her sisters and one where she interviewed Nate. She has one where we get to meet her Fiancée, Ethan. She is very pretty, smart, sweet and down to earth (from how she appears in the podcasts), she really seems like a regular girl next door and just from the impressions she gives off, I feel like she was raised well and is really close to her family. So whatever brutality, violence and cruelty you hear in Em’s music, remember that it is performative. Like an actor in a movie or a play. So while he may use inspiration from real life, it is still NOT real life. Again like an actor, or a writer or a painter- you use ideas, people…from the world and events around you but that does not mean you are like this in real life. Picasso, Steven King, Alfred Hitchcock, Shakespeare, ….pretty much well respected and thought of as great, but their art forms all have violence in them….just food for thought….

We absolutely need to do a reaction to Hailey’s podcast! It has been brought to us 3 times now, so we will have to check it out! Would you prefer a reaction video to it while it is playing on the screen, or like an after we see it, notes type of video? ​@LilKeatandCarterReacts The episodes are like an hour long and she doesn't really talk about her Dad much aside from a few brief segments in a couple of the episodes. Might not be worth reacting to in real time honestly. Some of it is interesting if you're a hard-core Em fan. It's cool to watch on your own time or to listen to in the car on a long drive.

If they were going to react to one, I would choose the one with Nate. It was like a peek into their life growing up. She mostly doesn't talk about her Dad too much at all, but it was fun watching the two of them tell some stories about themselves/each other.

He does have a song on this album called My Dad's Gone Crazy where Halie is on the song. Also what's pretty intense is Eminem performed the song Kim at a concert in Detriot back in 2000 and the crowd was going crazy over it and Kim was at the concert and that night after the concert she went home and slit her wrists!

It’s the sequel, but it was released 1st. Yes, it’s Hallie’s voice. Em told Kim he was taking her to Chucky Cheese. 💀 He didn’t let his kids listen to his music.
