First Ever Win At Daytona New Racing Track Forza Motorsport Update 4

As a Noob to sim racing, I thought I'd share my Forza Touring car experiences, my wins, my loses and my wtf moments. I try to explain my thought process and hopefully provide you with useful tips
My strategy is simple, stay alive at all cost. We all know Forza Motorsport can be a little dicey at times. I hope with a more passive tactic, I can swoop in and take the position. While also improving on my own skills as a racing driver.
Track learning is key, hopefully by reviewing my race choices and my mistakes, I can help others learn and improve upon their lap times. Thus making the racing world more fun and competitive.
Skill, balls, trail and error are key to become a better driver. For which I am looking for, but I do have trail and error down well.
I am using a G920 Logitech wheel, and playing Forza Motorsport on PC using Xbox Game pass. I do not have the VIP, or cars pass, this is the basic game as available to everyone.
I do hope you all enjoy the content, Racing and Sim racing is great fun and helps you escape the harsh reality of the life.

looking back at it, I wish I waited till going through the bus stop, then overtaking on the last fast curve. Then they would not of been able to punt me. If they did it on purpose, I had no chance anyway, as they would have overly blocked me or used their car as a ram. I am sure I raced that driver before and they are a good racer which is why Im suggesting other possibilities. Could be wrong of course. You think it was a blatant push into Hyperspace then ?? lol

If he’s been P1 the entire race, there’s a chance he might have been caught out by the draft but it did look quite blatant 😂

Lmfao I was so surprised they didn’t even get a penalty for it. You are right there was no need really to move up behind me.

This week has been a little rough on forza lol, every rammer is back lmao

Great video. Not races Daytona yet. I think he knew that 1st place was not his and did the right thing. Congrats. My race in Spa last night was the same. Penalties everywhere but also some strange driving. 1 car was just constantly weaving from side to side. Very off putting. Mid Ohio was another strange race. Crash central. Lasted 1 lap and left. Got battered all over the place for the full lap. It was insane. On a different note. Got to race in a group of racers. Wow. They are so quick. With it being a private lobby I raced how I would online. I set up low fuel and soft tyres and went onto hard. They were on soft and had 1 mandatory pit stop. They pitted on lap 13 of 14. Great banter. 2nd race with them I was only 3 seconds a lap slower. Different league those guys. Hope all is well.

Yeah I like to think that to. But do you think the shove up the backend was on purpose ??? Yeah mid Ohio is an odd kind of race lol. I think it’s a little flat and people are unsure on where they should be. That’s sounds great buddy. Best thing is to follow them if they are that quick. Be good to learn what they are doing. But sometimes people can be to quick and you just end up crashing trying to keep up. Practicing is key. Overall it’s good you found a group of drivers you can race with privately. Well done buddy. No I think he was concerned at keeping his place and when you got past him he probably lost exactly where you both were on the track. As the bend came it surprised him.

@@Equ1n0xe1 yeah seems logical. @chocolateteapot4444 suggested a great point. They got sucked up into my slip stream and again was not intentional. Like I said, if that was the case, it was mistake, then they should have waited at the bus stop exit for me to regain the position. Because no one said backing out at race end would have given me the position. Not like other players were close. They were still 4 seconds away ish. Also a penalty should have been given there. I hope the other player sees the video and comments, that would be great.

@@Flashms how's this for a race. Qualified on pole at Spa. 1.36 lap time. Started on Hard tyres. Had a 4 second lead by the end of lap 2. Pitted on lap 4 and put softs on. Someone had not pitted. When I came out of pits I was 7.5 seconds behind. Caught him on the 2nd last straight. I hung back until the point his tyres went.

On exit of turn 4 you can go much wider, fully over white line, just don’t cross the curb. Great stuff.

OOOO really, I did not want to test it. In reality if you are that far out though, you messed up or overtaking, the angle is so off lol good to know though. Be a sneaky overtake spot lol

@@ETRTriad oooo nice man. Well done. That’s a great time. MG is really in its own there. Fast straights tight slow corners the MG is just dominating there lol

@@Flashms yeah it does. I like using the hyundai usually but running the mg, you can feel how much better it is instantly.

@@ETRTriad yeah. I’m not sure how you like the Hyundai. The engine noise is horrid lol. Never drove it though. It is good in the corners. But the brute speed of the mg is unmatched at the moment lol.

Yeah I saw the wall at the end. It was blatantly obvious in the images they posted to. Definitely caused a bit of uproar.
