Samoa players were decorated with some renowned players back then no wonder this team performed well. No offence but Koyamaibole was the most useless big number 8 in the history of Flying Fijians.

@Ryuk-jt6hn yes they were...few weeks before leaving for the world cup ,they had a full on game against National provincial champions at the time "Nadroga " and lost badly....

Two things struck me and I played decent r ugby in France until I shattered my leg and required four ops to rebuild the ankle, tibea and knee. Often the opposing side in this match would check on an injured player from the oppo. Number two is that if these two teams had the cash that the six nations teams have...OMG

Worse Fiji team ever to be in the world cup. The players are good players but were unstructured snd unfit. Until Inoke Male took over, they were unstoppable. They were unfit especially the overseas players
