Patriots have always as far as I can remember been a highly respected organization. It is great that they have someone who played on the team formerly and has been there through the James White's, the Van Noy's, the Stephon Gilmore's, the Devin McCourty's, the Jason McCourty's, David Andrews, the Gronks, the Edelmans, Devlin's, the Hightower's, the Damian Harris's and the Rodney Harrison's as well as Teddy Brushi's and the future all star's that are going to come out of this classy organization that plays by the rules on the field but plays super intense football... Keep the tradition going sir. The Patriot way is playing super high level technique with super high intensity... The GOAT of the NFL.

The O Line Brown, Thuney, Mason, and each individual player that signs a contract for this organization ... There was a receipe from individual training sessions in training camp to situational football that you experienced so good luck with continuing the Patriot Tradition. Brady and Belichick are amazing leaders and have produced many coaches in the NFL coaching tree who have been very successful. You have the keys to the kingdom.

Excited for Mayo. Everyone is hyper focused on the exact words because Bill is now gone and Mayo is a lot more playful and joking. Relax. This guy coached one of the best defensive units for multiple years in a row while developing solid players into really good ones. I think this is worth a shot and whether it works or not was the right move for now.

That introductory press conference was a complete disaster. He outed himself as someone who puts D.E.I. (hiring of all black coaches) over winning. I'm already sick of them constantly bringing up race. It's a non factor. Hopefully he was hired because he's the best person for the job and nothing to do with his race. There have been black head coaches for decades now, yet every time a black person gets hired they act like it's the first time it's ever happened. He's not breaking down barriers, he's not overcoming diversity. I was hoping to listen to an interview with the new coach, yet not even 30 seconds into the video and they're already talking about race.

@bRichgray 5 ай бұрын
@@luvaholic That's fair regarding his experience . I think it's more that Kraft chose him out of loyalty, towards him personally and towards the organization. Whether or not that's the right reason is yet to be determined. However I'm confident that Kraft didn't just hire him solely because he's African American. He clearly thinks he's the best guy for the team at this particular time. He's only hired two other coaches since he's owned the team, both of which will be in the HoF so I have faith that Kraft knows what he's doing and for the right reasons.

Diversity hires never work out. Mayo seems like a good guy, but he was a draft bust, mediocre at best, always hurt. He embarrasses the owner at the press conference, starts talking about racism while being announced as coach of one of the most valuable franchises in the history of the NFL and life is somehow unfair. People are sick of this shit. Ignore it if you want but there's a reason the majority of stadiums in the NFL are empty. You can't go and cheer for people that hate you, which at this point, is kind of obvious. He'll fail, then blame racism and Mr. Kraft will ride off into the sunset paving the road of good intentions. Good luck Pats.
