What about some chickens for eggs? We pretty much exclusively rely on locals for our eggs. So much better.

Unfortunately it's not a good money making venture here since practically everyone has their own chickens in this area lol. Plus if you can sell them, the going rate is only $3/dozen here so it's really not worth the time and money investment right now. Thanks for checking out the video Gordon!

That makes sense. We’re at $3 a dozen here too with some at $4. Just thought it might be fun for the kiddos and there’s plenty of bugs down there for the chickens to nibble on. Enjoying the videos & your journey. Keep it going!

We had some chickens last year, but as soon as the predators found out where they were, they disappeared pretty quickly. We'll revisit them again in the future for sure though.
