I don't think you give the auto gearbox enough credit when your driving a bit spirited and the 'box is in dynamic. It it auto blips for you on down shifts so there is no unsettling and it holds lower gears for ages in twisty stuff. It's like it really reads your mind.
@shortround91343 жыл бұрын
He is correct, 95% of people who buy autos will drive them that way.. but i found that for daily driving (M3) leave it in auto.. but then when you want to smoke someone or get past traffic its easier to plant your foot down and let the computer kick down to lowest gear to give you max torque... or another way to do it in a M car, is to press the M button and click the paddles down for lowest gear and your off with you foot planted.... and this best as you can then be in manual mode to control the gears with max acceleration... so long as you setup the M buttons to your liking...

‘Errrm big brakes...... errrm lots of pistons’ 😂
@rscholey853 жыл бұрын
Got to agree with Ben except even on a twisty road If I drive an auto it stays auto never use the paddles or the other method of pressing the stick up and down , that’s why you buy a manual to change gears defeats the concept of auto if your doing it your self 😂
@carlgreatrix4 жыл бұрын
Memory seats and mirrors....if its the same as my 2019 RS5 you can save your Mrs settings to her key and your settings to your key......not quite the same as pressing a button but still avoids the faff of having to adjust every time you get in it.

As far as I’m aware, DSG/S-Tronic does not learn your driving style. It only reacts to your inputs accordingly, which also can differ depending on what setting the gearbox is in and i how the rest of the car is set up. I also find the perfect individual setting is having the steering and suspension in comfort mode but having everything else turned up.

Great video fellas. Ours has covered 3000 miles, mainly in comfort mode the RS1 set to balls out. RS2 set to balanced. It’s so nice just to cruise in to the point of lazy in comfort mode and press RS1 for the action. I’m however bothered about throttle response so now fitted a pedal box which sorts that out, but the gearbox I feel needs a remap, or like you say will it get better if I drive it harder for longer ? You need to take it out at night. Please please do a night video, with all the lights in auto. Man alive them matrix lights are amazing, you can follow a car and full beam is on but it just dims out the car your following !! Get it on a county road and try it !! Great motor we love it, my wife chose it but it’s deffo a mans car Oh and I think the spare button on the dash is possibly for the auto park option!! Also if you have the key in your pocket the boot will open and close with a swipe of the foot under the back bumper 👍🏽 Keep up the good work

Great stuff thanks for all the info. It definitely seemed better driving it harder for a while, the gearbox seemed a lot more responsive 💪night time video shouldn’t be a problem 👌

The latest RS models don’t sound as great as the previous versions! The RSQ3 is basically an RS3 on steroids!
@Woftam14 жыл бұрын
My earlier model Q3 RS Perfomance Model, tuned by a well known Audi Tuner to 420 BHP would blow this new model into the weeds. Audi wanted to recently buy my car back but only wanted to give me £28K. in their dreams. That would mean to buy something similar in the new model, would have to find another £30K. No chance. The new Q3RS aint worth it. Buy yourself a 2016 RS Q3 performance Model, if you can find one, and spend less than a grand, get it tuned, and buy yourself a real monster. Who needs digital dash, and some cute, non essential electronics, when you can wipe out a Porsche. My RS is here to stay
