I have a 2014 rsq3, I love it. No one expects the car to do what it does. Mine in remapped to over 400. I love it.

I’ve got one of these, it certainly doesn’t like launching and it feels the gearbox is mapped for comfort/drivability rather than performance. Following my experience I applied stage 1 ECU software and stage 2 TCU software (TVS Stage 2+) which has totally transformed, it will get to 60 in around 4.0/4.1 (GPS), but it’s a shame it needs this level of tweaking to make it perform as you would expect it to from factory

Don’t forget your rsq3 is fully loaded so that’ll affect performance. Stock they are 1775kg so pretty heavy. Plus you have pano roof and bigger wheels so that’ll add approx 50kg. Rs3 stock is 1530kg and only the pano roof adds extra weight. 300kg or so will make a huge difference. I personally think it’s the opf filter and probably needs an engine and gearbox remap as whatever Audi did isn’t working on the rs3. I’d get Audi to look at it though as it doesn’t feel right.

I tried Launch Control on mine, exact same results as you. Furthermore you have the 0-100 chrono in the virtual cockpit to verify this number. I think while driving (and in manual), you do not see a massive difference compare to the RS3. However, the clutch on the RSQ3 is much more smoother and thus does not allow to engage and shift in an aggressive way like the RS3 does. There is at least 0.5 of a second you lose between the time you release the brake pedal and when the car finally decide to go. Great vid as always! PS: btw i already have parasite noise coming behind the seats... as if a piece of plastic in the central console isn't fixed properly... Appointment with Audi next week to repair... only 800Km on the clock :P

I would recommend slapping it in manual mode and let it up shift itself . It will auto up right at redline and won’t short shift 2nd . When you hit 60 make sure you put it back in Auto. Turn off start/stop and well

It shorts shifts where the most power is. Turbo cars produce their max power about 800 rpm below redline.

I brought the Mrs a bmw x3m40i last year and I launched it every time I drove it lol. Wasn’t too bad 0-60 4.3secs 1/4mile I’m 12.7 which matched my mates rs3

I did it in mine using the on board 0-100kmh timing and got 4.8secs. Car has about 1400 miles on clock, over half tank of fuel and just me. Was not best road as bit bumpy

Hey guys, I enjoy your channel. Are you using the Draggy app with the GPS transponder? If not, that maybe the issue with your times. Your phones GPS doesn't refresh fast enough. If you do purchase a secondary GPS, keep in mind they work best with line of sight.

PS. I have a stock 2018 RS3 with a K&N drop in and on PS 4s and ran an 11.998. I then dropped down to a 245/40/18 and ran an 11.859. All at the drag strip, with slips.

Because we are different and like different things! I got rid of my 2019 RS5 for the 2020 RSQ3 because I want an SUV. I don’t want to sit on the floor anymore. Also the RS3 (lovely as it is, especially a saloon) is now becoming dated compared the interior of the newer Audi’s. So for now the RSQ3 makes sense. Maybe in a couple of years I’ll change again (hopefully the new RS3 when it arrives 2021-2022).
