First fishing trip after the flood (Watauga River)

This was my first trip after the flood and it did not disappoint. My buddy Ethan and his dad go down Watauga River with me as we explore the bite post Hurricane Helene.

Yeah, I love Sycamore Shoals. One of my favourites as well. The Lure is called a TD minnow.

@@MichaelKaal-TriFisher yes that is the rainbow jerk bait I get at Watson's Marine. While trolling on Boone, I throw that often with success with jerk retrieve on a lake

Nice catches. Were they prefering a certain length size over others or anything from 3 to 4 1/2ins? As long as it was the right color. 🎣👍🙏

Honestly, as soon as I switch to silver they started biting. The crank bait I was using was about 3 inches long.

Ik man it's brutal to just make entertainment but man it's worth it and hope we can see each other
