First Five Years 2015 - Shai Linne

Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion;

Along with the psalmist, Shai Linne, a pastor and rapper from Philadelphia, wants us to praise our God by praying to Him. Pastors in particular must be men of prayer as both a model to their people and as a part of their job description (see Acts 6).
To that end, Shai exhorts a group of young pastors from Psalm 65 on the necessary pastoral practice of prayer.

I love this! Thank you, Mr. Shai Linne! Listening to this in the first 2-3 minutes blessed me instantly. I was sure a verse came to me because I'm listening to something that's edifying or God's words. Thank you. Praise God, Abba Father. Praise the Lord, Jesus :) I love how Shai Linne is a servant and a lover of our God first or a Christian first, and rapper later... Since, I aspire to be the difference, not conforming to the world. I pray and desire to prioritize being a Christian and a lover of God and Christ first. Second, as an aspiring rapper in the back and not in the forefront like Shai Linne. Serve the body first and then rap haha xD But, I know we can also serve through rap like helping one another get better or write lyrics using Scripture..I promise no hatred in me or hate over this something.. But, yes.. I don't ever want to be hip-hop or live the hip-hop life or represent it. I only want to be a rapper that raps only about God and Jesus. Only want to rep Christ, like my Pastor has preached a message about Jesus being our brand.. Because we know that the real hip hop or the world's ways of rap destroys homes and lead the youth in peril.. provide the people false teachings, ideas, advertisements etc. It's misleading. That's why I support Dee-1 as well because he loves to share the truth and does not condone ways and examples of society's "role models". But yea, I believe it will flow out from within the difference of putting God as number 1 :) Other than that, great message! have to re-watch it again because I was reading homework for Sunday service later on haha. Praise the Lord, God :) May God's will be done in this world right now! And, it will be done! Jesus! :) May Salvation in Christ be received by many more! IN Jesus name, I pray amen!
