Love it! Wish I was there. I also wish Shai Linne would have addressed race issues from the other side as well. Maybe half and half. Black Christians doing the same thing when we turn our heads to anti-christian ideology and call it civil rights. "Give us a King like the other nations". It's a really complex world - too complex to only address one side while giving the other a free ride. Loved it still and it all was covered in conviction and grace at the end.

Political movements that shun Christianity while supporting ideas that are clearly against the Bible: sexual imoralality, calling good evil and evil good. Comparing the struggle of 1960's civil rights movement with the current LBGT issue. While I think everyone should be treated with dignity, much of what I see propagated in the education system and mainstream media is Pro-anything-except-Christian. We (black Christians) also compartmentalize anti-christian ideology when we feel it somehow benefits or scratches an itch of social vengeance and self-justifacation

God gave us the ten commandments so that we have the knowledge of sin. He revealed to man by the law how we should live before a Holy God. Now all stand guilty before God with no way to justify ourselves because of this knowledge. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. No one can live up to the standard that God has set for us. We as sinners can never meet those requirements, but Jesus, being in the form of God and equal with God came in the righteousness of God, Being perfect in Holiness He fulfilled those requirements for us and willingly became the substitute for the wrath of the Father which was met to be poured out on us, the ones who could not fulfill the Father's standard of holiness. Jesus died in our place, taking our sin upon Himself. The Lord placed on Him the iniquity of us all. Then in three days Jesus rose from the grave by His own power, proving He was God in the flesh and that He had succeeded in paying our debt of sin. By Jesus paying our penalty in death He frees us from the sin that so easily ensnared us by giving us His righteousness, the Holy Spirit by which He overcome the sin of this world, but only to those who believe in Him and trust in His work of the cross. Its thanks to Christ's righteousness alone that believers can come to the throne of the Father with praise! Through the Father's plan Jesus has restored us to a proper relationship with the Father! Now we are Justified by Faith apart from the deeds of the law and are no longer called sinners, but SAINTS! It is the goodness of God that leads you to REPENTANCE!

Repent of what? Sin. What's sin? Breaking God's law, the ten commandments. Of ourselves we can do nothing; but through Christ, we can do all things; even obey God's commandments.

wish I could hear on the more today specifics. Gender and homosexality, but I mean I don't know how this message plays out with sin. How do I "thank GOD their name is in the LAMB'S book of life", when they haven't repented (turned away) of sin. I do know I have to constantly have to make sure not to give a place for sin. I do my best to show love to everyone regardless of sin, to live peacefully, but how do we face such oppositions, in the church and out.

I thought he was gonna say arminians and calvinist need to get along and agree in the lord but instead he boasted in calvnism lol good message though
@andremayo38307 жыл бұрын
Jordan Belcher he did say that "the witness of the church is at stake" when believers are not in unity. That's so heavy and sobering. That applies to saints on both sides of that doctrinal distinction foreal lol. Peace and grace.
