Maybe if you move the seat forward some, you would shift more weight forward. Thanks for taking us along on the ride.

I did move the seat forward. Then I felt like I was smashed against the rudder pedals

Heavier boots or maybe my custom tool bags would work well to hold more cargo. Might as well take advantage of the need for ballast

Several years ago, I flew Andy's very first Hirth F-23 powered Sprint, and was VERY impressed!! Yes, the black Max brakes are the best for the money.

👍. Yeah I never really knew how nice brakes are on a quick 😁

Hello, 1. WHERE did you put the 30 pounds in the front? / 2. HOW did you attach them? / 3. WHAT kind of weight did you take? / 4. Photos? / 5. HOW do you notice that you need extra weight up front? / Thank you!

I personally would consider spraying clear coat uv protection on them sails..they will be easy to clean an last lots longer. Gotta love da Sprint...

I think this has clear coat on it

I'm envious - a beautiful flight.I'm curious about the aircraft - did you borrow it? Buy it? Replacing the earlier one?
@UltralightAirplaneDriver2 жыл бұрын
I did not buy it. It is a friend of mine

Surprisingly simple light aircraft design. Very short takeoff and takeoff. Just fantastic. The most expensive part is probably the engine)) I envy your ability to fly. I also want to ask. On the left on the bar is a measuring device, a transparent tube with a disk and numbers. It's like a receiver of air pressure, oncoming air flow. Is this data important during the flight? Or is it secondary data? Have a good day!!! Thanks ))

That is an airspeed indicator but I’m not hundred percent sure how accurate this one is it seems low. Thanks for watching, later

Oh yeah that's accurate, Mike's been flying naked for a long time. Mine stalls at 25 with vortex generators. The sprint operates 5-10mph slower than my sport. This thing probably stalls at 18 and even then it doesn't even drop the nose.

Maybe move your seat forward, would that change center of gravity much?

Great flight! Glad all went well. No weight and balance check beforehand?
@UltralightAirplaneDriver2 жыл бұрын
Weight and balance was done before I flew it. I did a few short hops to check counterweight
