I agree about Gris Charnel. I bought a sample and immediately liked it. Then found it a bit dull. Then I was going to buy a larger sample to see if wearing it a few times would change my mind. Decided that was ridiculous because I shouldn't have to talk myself into liking a fragrance when there's so many great ones out there that I know I love as soon as I smell them.

I love the Aerin Mediterranean Honeysuckle. There was a very limited edition of Mediterranean Honeysuckle in Bloom that I loved even more if possible. I wish I had bought several backup bottles but at the time I didn’t realize it would be limited. I really don’t understand the hype on Gris Charnel. Luckily I was able to sample and saved my $$.

I got a sample of Silky Woods as well and thought it was too woody/leathery but when it dried down it has the most beautiful vanilla on me. I’m a fan now. Really want to sample to pacific rock moss

I am so happy you own Mediterranean Honeysuckle! It has been my favourite for years, even though I didn’t even have the budget to buy it yet :( I always try it when in store. Gris Charnel came as a sample when I purchased another fragrance. I hated it at first. But, I went back to the sample and it really grew on me. I was surprised! I love it now, and it's not a fragrance I'd typically wear. I'm an Amouage Reflection girl if that gives you insight into my normally preferred scent.

I blind bought Lancôme Lavandes Trianon a few months ago based on the notes. When I first sprayed it on I was really excited because it was a nice, fresh, herbal lavender in the opening. Then as it dried down it just became milk and cookies, and that’s literally the only time I felt like a fragrance was too feminine for me.

I own les Esclusif de chanel beige and 1957! I do love the Cuir de Russie! I have a sample of it! I never hear anyone talking too much about this line except for Cheraye Lewis! Thank you for sharing! Going to use my sample to see if It’s FBW for me! I just tried a sample of memo Paris Sintra! I just didn’t like that it’s a dabber from Lucky scent! I prefer the sprayer! So I asked Bloomingdales to send me some memo Paris samples so I can try again! I have to be sure I love the opening until dry down because they are very expensive! I do love and own Armani prive bleu turquoise! Thanks to ilythia Marie’s recommendation! It was a successful blind buy and I love it! Buying a back up bottle!

I've made my share of fragcidents, more than I'd like to admit. Also sampled quite a bit of the BDK house and haven't bought a full bottle yet. I've drastically reduced my collection over the past month and only kept what I consider a love. Part of the declutter included Invite only. It's pretty good but is too similar to Oajan and didn't make the cut.

It’s so relieving to see someone feel the same way about Gris Charnel. I wanted sooo bad to smell the ‘creamy chai latte’ everyone was hyping. The sandalwood and vetiver were all I could smell, especially when I sprayed it on my skin.

Chanel Eau Tendre, to my nose, is not all that impressive. YOU talked me into sniffing Eau Vive and I fell in LOVE...so in love, in fact, that it will be my first spring perfume I buy!!! I loved the Eau Fraiche and I didn't think any other in that Chance line would impress me as much as EF. For some reason I overlooked EV...it's GORGEOUS! EDIT: Does Aerin last long on the skin/clothes????

Like ur content! I jumped in the air when I got a Gris Charnel sample as a surprise in a decant purchase. I excitedly sprayed my bf and I, we had no reaction at all, it was the end to that. I thought I was gonna smell the coolest fresh leather like smell, that makes you drool. When this happens, it feels like a punch in the stomach, over hyped for sure.

Really good first haul of the New Year - Cuir de Russia is great. Sadly, out of the 3 I purchased from FragranceBuy on Boxing Day one was a blind buy fragcident. Mancera Wild Candy - I get almost none of the notes everyone talks about. It honestly smells just like Prada Candy - nothing wrong with that, but I was expecting a more nuanced scent. I did buy Amouage Lilac Love and it is beautiful (will really shine in the warmer months for sure).

Love it in its creamy, smooth interpretations (the best with florals). Not a fan of it when it smells like an antique store on steroids. Surprisingly, I love the way it smells in the dry down of L’Interdit Rouge. Had to return Serge Lutens Santal Majescule, too screechy and dusty for this Indian chick.

Love it. Always appreciate the fragcidents! I recently got ambre no 3 because I loved no 1 from that line so much. But I'm not liking the ambre scent at all. Also I picked up a Diana Vreeland scent and it's ok. I think I would like it better if I didn't have other scents with that scent profile. It was the holy one, like a white floral. I do intend to give it more tries. Ty Yana!

It was fun to watch 😊 I’ve been interested in Zara Msk 004 because I’ve been looking for a candied almond scent, but the patchouli note scared me away from blind buying it. Can you detect the patchouli note? As for Gris Charnel, I don’t care for it either 😕 Have you tried Sana Jardin Sandalwood Temple? It’s my favorite creamy sandalwood fragrance and no dill! My favorite used to be Tom Ford Santal Blush, but Sandalwood Temple has taken over as my favorite sandalwood fragrance 🥰

Gris Charnel: I agree. I thought I loved it during sampling. It reminded me a favorite from my distant past. The first 15 minutes are glorious and then for me I get an incensy, masculine scent, which I don’t like at all. But I think it will be great for my son, so bye-bye

First I just wanted to say that your channel is great and I always look forward to new videos. It's such a bright spot in my day and it's so appreciated, so thank you. I've been on the fence about Eau Tendre and I would love to finish my Chance collection as well but I just can't bring myself to buy it. It's nice, but doesn't stand out enough for me to buy a full bottle. I was looking for a light, fruity, easy to wear kind of floral and I found a good one in Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede. So far I'm really liking it -- have you tried it? I'd love to see a Jo Malone collection video if you ever felt like making one. I'm on a Jo Malone kick these days. Also, I've had some great blind buys lately and avoided fragcidents thanks to your videos. Eau Vive, No. 5 L'eau and No. 19 Poudre were all blind buy winners for me, so thank you! All the best!

I'm so confused. I bought 2 Miss Dior EDP 2017 and they're both a light pink liquid....so why is yours uber dark?? I thought the 2021 was dark and 2017 was not but now I'm just confused!! Mine smells fantastic and is exactly what you describe...that beautiful rose Patchouli citrus fragrance. Help!

I want Nuit Etoilee- I have been looking for a bottle. I agree about the over-hyped Angel's Share and I think that Kayali is overhyped, and the Vanilla is not that special. I like Gris Charnel as a basic, everyday fall perfume, but my S.O. likes it on me so I ended up buying the Dua version because for me it is a basic perfume for me I also think the real thing is overpriced. The BDK I got recently that I thought really didn't live up to the pricetag is Velvet Tonka. I have found that I very rarely love perfumes that are really hyped, so I never rush to get them.

The edt is a bit fresher and more whispy and it doesn't have rose. The edp is still beautiful but not as airy and does have rose. Plus the edt is cheaper and lasts just as long!

Yana have you reviewed the new Billie Eilish fragrance ? Bottle is stunning but reviews mixed to negative. I want the bottle, it’s an art piece to display anywhere and enjoy. If the fragrance is passable I’d try it but if it’s really bad it’s a hard pass.

Unfortunately sandalwood is a note that doesn't often work with my body chemistry. I love Santal Kardamon on paper but on my skin it smells really bad 😑 Gris Charnel doesn't work either on me. (By the way Angel's share was my worst blind buy. Smells awful on me 😅)

@@justaddlight I just learned to deal with it 😂 But I know that I need to avoid blind buying if sandalwood is the main note. Hopefully Samsara and Bois des iles worked for me but I know I need to be cautious with sandalwood. My skin seems to hate this note. At first, I thought maybe that's in my head or my nose doesn't like this note. But nope, people commented also that I smelled like pee 🤣

Roses Vanille…ugh! I have a big bottle too. The Fig scent from Maison Lancôme…it is a travel size thank goodness. I will avoid all things fig in the future.

My total bummer fragcident was Manifesto! It smells like Lemon wood polish with a touch of baby powder on me. Full 90ml that I cannot wear.
