Aw man I had no clue this got taken down for such a long time! I used this all the time when I was learning the solo... and then I uploaded a cover of it... then I got 2.5K views... then Don Henley and UMPG copyright claimed it...

Yeah, I was pretty bummed. I figured stuff that was for educational purposes would be fine. At first it was blocked only in a few countries and then all. The re-post of it for the gain issue some were having stayed except for a few countries, but the comments were disabled. Most all of the videos using the backing track have been blocked. It really sucks, I so enjoy viewing them and seeing how well everyone was doing at the solo. I didn't monetize it as it was for learning the solo and having fun learning and playing. I've broke so many strings that I lost count. One way to solve this is to go to a heavier gauge strings. Like one step up. Another is a better quality in strings. Thanks for your comment!🙂👍

Find the bit at 0:37 really hard. The constant g bend then note then bend again repeating few times. Not easy! Any tips guys?

The best advice I can give on string bending would be, what ever finger you're using to bend with get another or as many as you can behind it to make the bend. If you're using the ring finger put the middle behind it and use both for the bend. If needed add the index finger also.

That can't be done. All the "isolated tracks" you find on youtube are taken from Rock Band and similar games where the game makers were given copies of the isolated tracks from the original master tape and they can be extracted from the game data. You cannot cleanly isolate anything from just the mixed version of a song.

It can sound good with an acoustic guitar. You have to get the bends to the right pitch or slide to the right notes. Lighter guage strings would help for acoustic guitars. Also using a cutaway acoustic helps to reach the higher notes.

Thanks for doing this but I have one criticism. Please use a limiter, you are thrashing this thing so much it distorts on peaks rather a lot. If you find your level meters slamming into the 'end stop' then you are more than likely over-driving it. A limiter, correctly used, can cure this problem. If you can't find a limiter with Acoustica Mixcraft then turn the levels down manually.

great software, but you should realise that the master and track volume are too loud, as you can hear with good earphones... the audio us popping, also if you notice the volume gauge, red indicates that the noise level is too high... this is true for both the track volume as well as master volume, separately... thanks for the good video 👍 btw what software is this? peace! ✌

+google user I had the volumes up on both due to the screen capture software used for the video was recording it at a very low volume for some reason. The guitar software is Acoustiac Mixcraft 6.0 they have a trail of the software on their website. I might be able to, but the computer I used to create the track crashed on me a little over a year ago. I'll see if I can find and pull the files off the hard drives. It may take a while. The drives are 2 tb's each and were pretty full of files.

Hi R&B, Sorry you are having trouble with this. The music companies are the ones that are blocking certain videos. It sounds to close to the original music. Depending on which country you are in. I can only suggest that you do an appeal through KZbin. I have the same issue in the US The backing track was blocked completely. I wish I could help more with this problem. If you choose to appeal and it's denied you could consult legal help ie an attorney. I hope this helps. Thank you for using the track and I hope you at least enjoyed it. Hi, Back to ya! You can download this video using a free plug in for firefox like Flashgot. Once downloaded you can extract the audio and use with any desired software or free download like Audacity. Just use Google search and type Flashgot and install. Google search for Separate sound from video and that should come up with a few choices. Google Audacity for the download. Hope this helps, if not send a message and I'll figure something out. ;-)

Thank you but I was able to do something different! One of my students Dads showed me that all you gotta do is put ss in between the www. & the word youtube & you can move it to your itunes! Hope that help & thank you! Bryan

Bryan Hackett There are many websites which can do this, my personal favourite is FLVTO.com , you just copy the URL:kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5iwcpWOdr5nZrM and just paste it into the box, enter and then in about 10 seconds you will be able to download it. From there you can put it into your itunes folder under music (Music>Itunes>Itunes Media>Music>And then put it into any folder.) Hope this helps.

You can check and see if there are any youtube video downloaders available. There used to be some on the Google Play store. I'd check there and see. If you find one it might separate the audio and video even. You'd be able to download this video or audio that way. The other way would be to figure out a way to send it to you.

I uploaded this video like 9 years ago. A lot has changed since then. I've had copyright problems with it several times. I filed appeals a few times and it was still blocked. It's still to this day blocked in several countries including my own. I don't really know of any tricks around it. Just really glad they allowed me to continue having it up and available. I never monetized any video and any the have copyright issues can't be monetized at this point. Anyway I'm glad that you were able to view and use it! It's a good learning tool. Most of the copyright issues I believe are from the music companies. I have the same issues with the backing track video. It's blocked in several countries including my own. I don't use Instagram so I can't say for sure. There are several solo covers on KZbin and at times some get blocked also. I'm glad you can at least use the backing track to solo too. Keep Rockin 🎸🎶💕

@@arhportfisher163 yes, I checked the issue and apparently Eagles takes down most of the cover videos even if it was a backing track , thats a shame. But thank you for the response and an amazing backing track!!

Cool that you made this but there's a ton of clipping, especially in the bass frequencies. Maybe you should mixdown another version and keep a closer eye on the levels

This was made for practicing the solo nothing more. If you want something more professional feel free to do one.

Can't practice with this, find it unlistenable because of the clipping. You can be offended or you can learn something from this and avoid the mistake next time. There are other backing tracks on youtube that don't cause immediate ear fatigue, so I'll just use on of those, thanks.

Yes, absolutely. That's one of the reasons I made and posted the backing track. To practice, to learn the solo and I like to see everyones version or Style of playing. It's great. Be aware that the production music companies may copyright strike it though. Have a great day and keep Rockin' 🎸🎼🎵🎶👍
