These are the first images of John Paul II's remains being removed from the Vatican Grottoes. His body will be moved to it's new resting place in St. Peter's basilica in the chapel of St. Sebastian after the beatification ceremony. .

you know what there's a big difference with worshiping and honoring. so pls don't use that word telling us Catholics that we worship dead people. it's just that we honor them just like in the 10 commandments. honor your mother and father. pope John II is a father to us that's why we honor him.

Millions come to Rome - Vatican people are simply moving his remains so that pilgrims can venerate the body of a saint more easily. It's about ACCESS, that's all. If you don't understand the dynamics of Catholic practice, why even comment? It's about belief in the resurrection of the body - that on the Last Day we will be raised body and soul to new life. Since Pope John Paul II has been declared "Blessed" (stage one of being declared a saint), his body is worthy of veneration. It's traditional.

You are mistaken on what Vatican II teaches. Catholic answers will help you understand what is taught. "He who endures to the end will be saved" (Matt. 24:13; cf. 25:31-46). One who dies in the state of friendship with God (the state of grace) will go to heaven. The one who dies in a state of enmity and rebellion against God (the state of mortal sin) will go to hell.

So there are 2 beast that is mentioned in Rev. If the beast is the Pope, why would the Pope during the time of St. Jerome who translated the Bible, allowed these text to be included in the Bible? I am looking and looking but everywhere that sells it, sells it for well over than what I can afford. :-( I live in Ireland and I have absolutely no chance at owning such a gift. please if you can help, I would appreciate it so much. I am very ill healthwise and I feel I would benefit grately fro mowning such a 1st class relic....especially from this marvelous saint. I have loved him for many many years and I know he did so much good in his life. He did suffer a lot, having lost all his family members quite early on in his life and people who he knew and cared for.

Look up the meaning of saint and see those are titles reserved to a spiritual Catholic life. The degree of which is not of the common amongst us in the eye of the Catholic Faith. Your comment is but a perverse look on a sign of veneration and respect. It usually common to kiss something which is considered important to show some sign of respect. The veneration of relics during Mass in which people kiss the reliquary containing the relic is an example, or when people kiss the ring of a bishop/cardinal/pope. It is a sign of veneration and in the case of those in episcopate a sign of respect for their authority.
