😂Welcome to Egypt! People are always wanting to take pictures with me. You're right, it happens more so in Alex than in Cairo. But, it has happened in both places. Everyone also stares at me when I walk down the street. Again, mainly in Alex but it happens everywhere in Egypt. I thought it was because I'm white and not Muslim. However, my Son-In-Law's uncle told me something interesting. He told me they stare because I'm American (Egyptians call anyone from the States "Americans"). I asked the obvious question that was HOW do they know I'm from the States? I could be from England, Germany, etc. He told me he could spot someone from the States in a second because of how we carry ourselves. He said "American's, no matter male or female, no matter what color, all carry themselves the same. Americans walk with purpose. You all know where you're going and why. Americans are just different in that way." I thought that was fascinating! Keep up the great content!!

They did this to us too. The young girls especially . They wanted to take our pictures then they were like petting my mother. The young boys would look but were very cordial and I told them you can come over. I am considered white with dark hair,light skin and green eyes, but I am Italian, greek, Turkish, Egyptian, Greek, Iranaian, Spanish , Portuguese and Irish. They were very nice there. Jordan on the other hand...no!

I don't feel weird at all, I wasn't wearing it for them I was wearing it for myself, I will say in Mexico I felt the most "weird" wearing a mask
