I'm so sorry for your loss Darlin & I totally agree. I lived w/my parents already to help w/my dad, that's what I do for a living anyway. My dad just passed this year & my mom is 78 but in good health. 4 months later we lost my soul mate & grandma's too, my lil weiner dog, Georgia. We're still grieving, but we're doing it together. Even the people who work in the Post Office are nice! One Christmas I was standing in line to mail presents and I was holding back tears. I was just divorced, I missed my little dog states away, and was just so sad and lost. When I got to the desk the woman at the counter took me aside. Asked if I was OK and said kind things to a stranger. Disney is magical and that magic affects Celebration too.

When Celebration opened up, people felt duped because the homes were not built by Disney but by subcontractors and had all kinds of problems. But it is a beautiful community.

Celebration is our go-to tradition 1st morning after arriving on holiday from the UK. Love everything about the place. We have about 4 different walks that we enjoy numerous times during our holiday. Having missed out last year due to Covid watching this video was much appreciated.

Welcome to Florida! You picked the absolute best neighborhood! We go to a lot of events there. Their celebrations of 4th of July, Halloween and Christmas are normally over the top. This year obviously was toned down but some of my best holiday memories are in Celebration. We were just there a couple weeks ago to get a Starbucks. We walked around the Main Street, enjoying the Christmas atmosphere and then drove through the neighborhood to look at all the houses decorated for Christmas. I bet you’ll love living there.

What a wonderful place..... it has a little bit of Orange County feel about it, with the town square so to speak, seating area, fountain and trees. The layout is lovely... those Squirrels would literally run up your leg if you went out with bags of nuts or seeds. I love places like that. Doing your chat/vlogs with the back drop of the lake, or that fountain will fast become, with a caffeinated beverage in hand, your go to places..... so so happy for you.

Wow, what a beautiful neighborhood! I've only been in Florida once, Miami, departing on a cruise and I was super surprised about the humidity. You've lived there so you're probably pretty used to it but it was hard for me, being a Cali born and raised girl. But having said that I loved the beauty there...and Celebration is so clean...it looks like an amusement park setting it's so picture perfect. I can imagine getting a coffee on Market Street in the mornings, possibly stopping into a bookstore (assuming they have one there) and grabbing a bite to eat on a leisure weekday morning. It's all about the quality of life. Enjoy y our new home!

I first visited Florida in 1965. Visited many times over the years. Retired the first time here in 1995 and retired permanently in Naples in 2014. I am a year-round resident and will admit that the summers are uncomfortable. However, it’s worth it to me because of the beautiful weather when it’s winter up north. It doesn’t make much difference to me because I stay in air conditioning no matter where I am in the summer. The town of Celebration looks lovely - with its Disney - like appearance - and I really like the idea of walking everywhere. I think that you made the right decision, especially considering all of the problems in California right how. In my opinion, it’s better to live nearer to your parents and family. I would be interested in hearing some price comparisons between your California living arrangements and where you now live. Hope that you enjoy your new surroundings and best of luck to you. Are people wearing masks and social distancing there? Please be safe and take care.

I knew this place was gorgeous with the wrap around porched homes, but the downtown is STELLAR! Definitely looks like Orange circle Adam! Love the walk ability of it all 👊🏻 take in the ambiance and less stressful than big city living. That movie theatre is amazing, hope they reopen somehow, lucky you got to go in a view some flicks before it shut. Great choice in staying here. 🤩

There was /is a really good Mexican restaurant a few door down from Starbucks towards the Bohemia motel . Love Celebration spend lots of time there when we visit from Australia . Cannot wait till next year when we can visit again .

I feel you would benefit from using an all-wheel-drive or 2-wheel drive Electric TRIKKE to get around your new neighborhood. It will definitely make you stand out from the rest as you go around doing errands. It's unique foldable/portable 3-wheeled design, out performs any of those Electric Scooters. This way you don't need to get a golf cart like most of your neighbors!!!
