I am 66 years old and had the original 1973 CR 250 Elsinore Brand new! .It was a game changer but had it's draw backs. I broke the down frame in half twice clean into jumping on to flat ground. That's the way the tracks were back then, flattened the down pipe probably 10 times., Alloy Welding in Ft Lauderdale felt sorry for us kids and would beat it out and weld it up for 10 bucks.Who thought a down pipe on a dirt bike was a good idea? Rounded the dogs off the gears in the transmission many times, that would make it slip out of gear. Even shattered a boss in the transmission that was welded to the center case that held I think the switch forks. Split the cases yet again to have it alloy welded up. That's usually terminal. Also one foot peg was welded on the other was bolted. The bolt would bend on a sever angle after landing on flat ground from jumps. I replaced the bent foot peg bolt many times. I was 6'2 185 not a ounce of fat. After a refresh top end I let a bully take it for a ride and he pinned throttle till l it blew up and laughed in my face. Got tired of getting the hole shot in deep Florida sugar and every skinny kid shooting by me. Bought a 500 and never looked back!

You guys should color grade these videos - you're shooting in raw format so it greys it out.

I like how you start off by saying it's the same bike besides looks and you go into how they've changed everything lol hypocrisy much

No, we said its the 2023 50th anniversary bike is the same to the 2023 standard model technically, but just has a different look. Then we explained what is different between the 2023 model and 2022 model.
