@@Ozfreerider_adventures those shootouts are a joke. They are ex pro and current pro riders paid by brands and biased like a mf. I’ll watch the shootouts but take zero from what they say to heart when it comes to which bike is best. I have a 2020 kx450f 2022 crf450r and a 2023 ktm450sxf there are good and bad about each. No bike is perfect. But they can all be setup for anyone’s liking. All about how deep your pockets are to get any bike perfectly dialed for you.

@@corylakics2737 yeah some bikes are just better suited to people I agree , as far as the test riders being paid , that’s the oldest cliche in the books that people crap on about non stop . Its some bullshit that people just think “would” be happening so they repeat it . If they are so easily paid off for these shootouts , go find me a shoot out in the last 4 years where honda has won a 450 shoot out . Find the video and post the link to it . Honda one of the biggest companies in the world I’m sure they’d have money to buy off a shootout . So go find it for me

CRF needs some minor tweaking out of the box but once dialed it can’t be beat.

I own both these bikes. You guys nailed it on the review. I agree 100%. I have not had the CRF very long. The KX has FMF 4.1 full exhaust on it. It is snappier off the throttle. The CRF has a FMF muffler on the way. My kids are better riders than me. They seem to agree also. Interested in how they will compare in the sand and hill climbing this summer.

Had a 22 CRF .. Rode it for 3 months and I dumped it for a KX.. Sooo much happier.. No Fun racing the CRF all day unlike the KX.. To each their own boyz.. Moto-On 💪✌️😉

Been on ktm since 2017. Just sold my 2019 ktm and went to kx450f. No regrets. Front tire is so much more planted on kx. I even had spring forks on ktm.

I have a 2023 KX450 and if I could choose one over the other I’d choose the Honda 😂 I got the Kawasaki cuz it was substantially cheaper than the Honda lol I still love my KX tho I have tons of fun on it

As a taller rider, the 2023 Yamaha feels much better than the past. The Honda is a great bike for taller riders. The KX is a good all around bike, and it is a more cozy ride than the CRF, but I like the looks and feel of the Honda better. If you're looking for more of a laid back and cozy ride, the KX is the bike for you.

@@RedRider820 thanks brother !! I was leaning towards ktm or kx or yz lol but I’m a bodybuilder bout 250 now 6,1. I just like hitting jumps on the track and riding off haha I get lazy but always loved sending. and going bush. But yeh with the yz I felt like I was seat bouncing the 100fter at the track felt way more comfy but I didn’t move pegs or get higher seat or move the bars or get new bars. Love wheelies to. So a bike that feels comfy for a taller rider any 450 gonna have enough power to pop my heavy ass up. I did ride a 22 crf was smooth . But my buddy who rides it is a fkn midget hahaha so felt weird as on the settings he had at

I have a 2022 kxf 450 and find it very twitchy at the front at high speed. Anyone drop the forks or tighten the headstock bearings? Did it help? Thanks

Haven't ridden the newer Hondas but most reviews out there say similar things. Honda has been placing 5th where as Kawasaki placing in top places for MX. I say reliability maybe especially bolts and stuff.

KX is so much better for just about every private rider. Nobody can get there CRF set up. Frame is too stiff. Transmissions blowing up. KX just does everything well. KYB would be the bomb on it
