Thanks for the video. I bought this case new at a junk store for $50 bucks. I added 3 more RGB Corsair fans up top, and a Corsair H80i radiator as exhaust. Your video saved me a lot of time. I really like this case.

Hi Guys Very good video! it Helped me a lot mounting my build which also uses a 460x. The tip for moving the hdd rack and the cpu power cable at the top were the best tips for me. The Q connector was also good tip but I was able to connect without use it. Just as said in this video corsair should send a y spliter for the fans, I was lucky to have 4 inputs for 4-pin fans and used 3 of them to connect the 3-pin fans. For the ones that like the case but think that cable management is bad, don't get discourage. Cable Management is possible and with style, you just have to think at every step and it's quite a interesting challenge to put everything pretty. but in the end you will feel quite proud. As another detail I like the thumb screws for the glass, it's nice because if you had to use a screwdriver you could scratch the glass by accident. Other than that I that, the case has a very good size and I just want to abuse it! Cheers

nelsonthekinger I'm having a hard time with my fans, they power up but they don't spin. What splitter are you talking about?. I have a total of 6 fans in there. None of them spin at all, but just light up.

Hallo.

This build video was crazy helpful for me making up my mind. Still on the fence between this and the s340 Elite. This is a stunning case, but that cable management and the limitations of the shroud have got me going Ehhhhh, plus I didn't realize how tinted the glass would be. I need to double check on that, because I want a PC where I can always see my components clearly in a well lit room. Subbed.

Question: Do the HDD trays have four mounting holes on the bottom of each tray to secure a SSD in? Also is the triple SSD rack removable so that I could either Velcro or adhesive pads to that spot a Corsair Commander Pro so I can control fans, fan leds and lighting leds? Also it seems that Corsair kind of skimped out on the available lower grommet holes to route HD audio cable and any other header related cables that goes to the bottom headers. I might have to dremel out a couple of small cutouts to route motherboard cables through that attach to the bottom of the motherboard.

you CAN run the hd audio through the hole above the psu fairly easy

PCPartPicker:: Where or how did you manage to close the back panel having that Thick 24 Pin Power Cable from Corsair??? cuz that puppy is thick and now know why people have major problems cable managing... From the Corsair 460x RGB Case, which is a really nice case, and another thing why the hell did Corsair decided to :NOT" add Henges on the bottom of the case to hold the glass cover it is so annoying, tempted to having henges wield it on the bottom of case to hold to Glass in place like it ought to have...
@Nick_Stf7 жыл бұрын
The non RGB version allows you to install Corsair HD or the new Corsair LL, without having to remove the SP fans. Now if someone likes the SP fans, should go with the RGB version

Question here, so I just bought corsairs 460x case, and so if i want to control 3-pin stock fans (3x RGB SP120, they come with the case), I have to buy corsairs commander? these fans are too loud for idling.. HALP! im kinda worried that if i spend extra money i wont be able to control fan speeds because of those 3 pins that come with the stock fans. Thank you!

Miles Potton There 2 versions of the 460x. The one here is the 460x RGB, while there is another 460x non RGB that comes with 1 140mm Red LED fan, and 1 120mm regular fan. Here in the State, price difference is about $20-40 I believe

How do you control the fans? Is there a way to do it with software?
@Gavrev7 жыл бұрын
Fan control will happen via the PWM header on your mainboard. If you are asking in terms of colour control, that happens via the three button front panel, or additional three button controller located behind the side panel. The included fans aren't strictly RGB in terms of the whole 16.5 million gamut, but rather I believe there is a base rainbow selection of white, violet, blue, green, yellow, orange and red. By that association I don't know how compatible the controls would be with fans from other companies or any subsequent fans released from Corsair, such as the new dual light loop - they would probably have to be fitted independently and controlled via installed software. However you may feel about that as a possible limitation, it's probably also fair to say that on the whole the SP120 fans aren't as expensive compared to the dual light loop.
