I like the Supra . They are easy to lose so I keep mine in pouches. I put a clip on one. I think it adds to the character of the pen. I like the weight.

As I've been using it, I decided I want a clip.

@@WaskiSquirrel I have one with a clip and one without I keep in a Diplomat pen pouch. I put an elastic band around the pouch and store the Supra in the groove on the side. I can fit a couple of pens in the pouch and fit that securely in a shirt top pocket.

I carry the brass sport as a pocket pen but it rides in the bottom of my left front pants pocket.I farm and I need something that won't get crushed or broken.

I got mine in brass and got the clip for it. I keep it long as well. Has a medium nib and I put Robert Oster Gold Antiqua in it. Fits it perfectly.

I have the steel Supra. Very simple steel cylinder really that looks somehow elegantly minimalistic. The #6 steel nib that writes smoothly and reliably and quite fun to use. I have the B nib. The pen is quite fairly priced, too. The Fireblue, not so much. I always keep the extender piece intact and use the pen unposted (my preference with all pens) and with the converter. For a diminutive pen, I already have the superb copper Lilliput (BB) The first and only other Kaweco pen that has the #6 nib is the (now discontinued) Kaweco Elite, a lovely faceted-bodied full sized pen that is my joint favorite Kaweco pen (with the Dia2).

I missed out on the Elite. But I am pleased with the Supra. I chose to pay the premium for this finish because I think it's gorgeous. And I like using this pen unposted.

School is going well. It's amazing how quickly it settles into being the normal.

I adore my Supra! But I use the extension so rarely that I can clearly see the difference in the fading of the blueing.

My one niggle with the Supra is that it's a wee tad short to use the mini converter. I use one anyway, fill it not quite to the top with my Pineider Snorkel, and use the gentle pressure of the barrel screwing down to prime the feed.

That's good to know. I have pocket pens I like, so my Supra stayed full length since I bought it last winter. Good to know about the converter when the extender is removed.

Interesting design and well made, but I could never carry any pen or pencil in a trouser pocket. Cheers from Terror Oz-tralis.

The pen fits perfectly horizontal in the very bottom of the pocket . I forget it's there until I need it.

It depends on what I'm doing. At work, my pen is in the shirt pocket. But in summer I'm usually in shorts and t-shirt. A pocket pen makes more sense.

I’ve several decent and affordable pocket pens from Delike(some of which are clones of Supra without extender) which I can take for hiking if I need to. Losing the extender is a certain possibility and I’m surprised that Pilot could make a Pilot “Long-short/Telescoping” convertible pen with an integrated extender decades ago which Kaweco didn’t choose to emulate.

Ooh! I just got myself a Pilot Telescopic, and I am such a fan of it, I feel the need to tell everyone to try one. 😂

@@archivist17 On the contrary, mine (obviously bought ‘used’ since this model isn’t being made anymore ) dries out and needs frequent priming 😞
